Kvadrum optimized management of a warehouse and  for  50% accelerated order processing  using 1C:ERP

2019: Automation of a warehouse

Specialists of the company "1C: The first Bit" (The central office Voronezh) was developed and  implemented the automated control system for a warehouse in  Kvadrum company. On July 8, 2020 1C Company reported about it.

In  3 months  based on "1C: ERP Enterprise Management" the system of address storage of products on  500 warehouse cells is unrolled. For  50% processing of the entering orders accelerated, their  fast assembly and  preparation for  shipment is organized. Operational selection of cars for movement and  the goods delivery is provided. Loading and  unloading of machines takes only 30-45 minutes. 

The Kvadrum company in  2019 opened the direction, new to itself  — wholesales of alcoholic products. For a project startup the warehouse with a capacity of 500 poddono-places was rented, suppliers are selected, agreements are signed with  buyers  — wholesale and  retail retail chain stores.

Violation of delivery dates under  contracts with  retail chain stores threatens with serious penalties, and  idle times  during loading/loading of goods increase expenses. Therefore for the company it was important to organize an operational inventory control and  address storage of goods, to provide harmonious interaction between a warehouse, department of logistics, department of wholesales and  accounting. The management needed an opportunity  in real time to receive  sales statements, purchases, settlement with  suppliers and  buyers. 

Regulated accounting in  the company is organized  using "1C: Accounting" therefore it was decided to automate work of a warehouse also  based on "1C: Enterprise". For the solution of assigned tasks the management addressed to  project office "1C: The first Bit" (Voronezh). 

In  3 months it was necessary  to start and automate accounting and  work of a warehouse for 50 users. Key project objectives were defined:

  • Provide capacity of a wholesale warehouse by  the end of 2019 in  20 machines a  day that corresponds to one completely accepted/shipped machine in  1 hour 15 minutes.
  • Pick up the necessary equipment for warehouse workers and  build the accounting allowing to place or select in  warehouse 60 a pallet in  day.
  •  Organize and automate work of logisticians of the company, provide timely selection of vehicles according to current orders of buyers and  orders for  movement.

The automated system of warehousing and  accounting was constructed  based on the solution "1C: ERP Enterprise Management" and  the module for "1C: ERP 1C: Production of alcoholic products", and  the warehouse is equipped with data collection terminals

 During the project:

  • The architecture of warehousing and  accounting is designed, processings for printing of barcodes of cells and  packagings are made, the order of a bypass and  level of availability to all 500 warehouse cells is set;
  • The data exchange allowing to load receipt documents directly from  suppliers of finished goods is developed;
  • Automatic filling of documents Unified State Automated Information System  on the basis of warehouse orders is implemented;
  •  Process of resale of goods between the organizations is simulated and automated;
  • The separate workplace of the logistician which allows to trace  orders of buyers and  supplier orders in a system is developed, to estimate the weight of the order and  volume in  decalitres and  to select the vehicle for delivery. After drawing up the order a system automatically creates the notification to the accountant of a warehouse about  need to write out documents for  shipment or acceptance of goods;
  • The order form of the buyer is finished: the specified product quantity automatically is recalculated in  packagings;
  • The printed forms of accompanying documents conforming to requirements of the legislation and  clients of the company are developed;
  •  Documents and   credentials which are saved up for 2019 are transferred to a system.
  •  During trial operation of a system all operations on  loading of the car in  a warehouse were executed in  30-45 minutes.

 As a result:

  • In  only 3 months the system of operational management of a warehouse with  address storage of alcoholic products (500 warehouse cells) and  automatic data loading about  a goods receipt from  suppliers is completely started. 
  • Operational selection and  the order of cars for the product delivery is organized.
  • Processing of the entering orders accelerated for  50%.
  • For  35% labor costs are reduced by  document handling of a goods receipt from  suppliers, a design of movement of products between warehouses and  other warehouse transactions.

We  selected the partner with  the confirmed experience  —  we  had no time for  "swing', wanted to start a warehouse quickly. It was important to provide fast loading / unloading of machines. Alcoholic products are shipped only marked, on  each pallet a series, a razlivant, date of pouring is specified. It is impossible just to ship from  a warehouse products from  the most convenient store cell because in  documents for  implementation the specific serial number pallets is already specified. Our system is able to add a series to  shipment documents only after the actual fence of goods from  a warehouse. The warehouse supervisor can independently decide from where it is more convenient, more safely and  quicker to take a pallet. The report on  placement of goods in  a warehouse in  which it is visible in  what cells there are necessary products is developed for it. It provides fast assembly and  shipment of orders of buyers.
