On September 17, 2020 the Litas Ra company reported that it increased efficiency with the updated cash solution.

"Litas of Ra"

According to the company, for effective network functioning in which for September, 2020 700 shops, centralized operation by cash desks was necessary – the former cash solution did not support such scenario. Having replaced a system with Set Retail from CSI company, "Litas Ra" reduced software housekeeping overheads by 80%, twice – resources of IT specialists and accelerated implementation of changes. The basic systems capabilities and the updated options implemented by the solution designer at the request of "Litas ra" made customer service quicker, and capacity of outlets above.

The lack of the centralized setup and updating was the main premises for change of the cash solution – any changes required many labor costs of IT service. "The litas ra" constantly carries out advertizing campaigns, but it was inconvenient to configure them, for start IT specialists were required too. Data between the server and cash desk at break of communication in shop were lost. Software which will fix all these problems was necessary.

In July, 2019 pilot start of the automation system of trade of Set Retail at the checkout of 10 shops "Litas Ra" took place. In August, 2019 by forces of IT specialists of the company circulation started – on updating of a cash system on all 700 shops 3 months left. The main objective – the centralized updating and setup of a system at the checkout – was reached. Now IT specialists can administer software and manage settings of the equipment at the checkout of all shops of the region far off, without visit of outlet. If earlier in the city or the region on each 100 cash desks 2-3 employees and up to 5 working days a month were required, then for September, 2020 only 1 specialist and no more than 1 working days a month for works on updating is necessary.

One marketing specialist, without the address to IT department can start actions of loyalty now. A system provided stable data transmission, at break of communication of cash desk work independently, and at recovery of network take away data from the server. Updates of a system, including legislative, are provided free of charge. Cashiers estimated the simple and evident interface – errors less, it is simpler to train employees, customer service quicker.

The specifics of many small shops are that the computer is used both as cash desk, and as the place for work in a stock count system. Taking into account this nuance "the Litas ra" at consultations of CSI was configured by IT specialists start of Linux cash desk Set Retail 10 in the virtual machine in the Windows system.

"ra" offered litas also own to optimization – for example, sale of beer, a plastic bottle and a lid without need to punch each element in the check. Ready sets were added by the developer to a system.

With replacement of the cash solution we resolved an issue of management of cash desks – for large retail network it is big economy of IT resources. Nearly a year of work later in Set Retail we reduced costs for 70%. Eliminated data loss in work of cash desks. Cashiers are happy with the interface. Specialists of CSI helped us to implement all necessary for start, considered our requirements in a product. We are going to develop service methods in outlets "Litas ra" – issue of Internet orders with payment at the checkout, integration with delivery services of food and soft drinks, payment using QR codes.
