The Russian school students teleported in "Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts"

2020: Creation of telecommunication infrastructure

On October 16, 2020 the JSC ER-Telecom Holding company (TM "Дом.ru", "Дом.ru Business") reported that it together with Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts carried out virtual - a lesson for pupils from Volgograd, the Saratov, Tyumen, Arkhangelsk and Ryazan schools.

According to the company, the telecommunication infrastructure unrolled by ER-Telecom within the national program "Digital Economy" was used for the organization of school lessons with participation of the Russian art critics on the subject "Art of Ancient Egypt". The speaker the specialist of department of esthetic education of Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts as him A.S. Pushkina Natalya Kuznetsova acted.

In the Volgograd region the online lesson went to municipal educational institution "High comprehensive school" of the farm the Swan Glade where for the purpose of visit of the socially important objects of the region connected to the Internet this day there arrived the vice-chairman of committee of information technologies of the Volgograd region Alexey Kidalov.

Pupils of schools of the Saratov, Tyumen, Arkhangelsk and Ryazan regions where the telecom operator also carries out works on connection of SZO joined an action.

In addition to school, Alexey Kidalov visited also other objects of the farm – the local administration and a fire brigade digitized within the first stage of the project which was completed at the end of October, 2019.

The Volgograd region participates in the federal project "Information Infrastructure" which is a part of the state program "Digital economy". Within the project there is a connection of socially important objects to the Internet. It is important to note that for each organization there are set speeds of data transmission. For example, at school where we are, set speed is 50 Mbit/sec. The created infrastructure facilities can be also used for communication services provision to citizens and the organizations. It is sure that an online lesson under the leadership of the research associate of the Pushkin museum and the gained knowledge, will help school students from remote corners of our country better to be guided in questions of art. Nikolay Gorbanov, the interregional director of the South of JSC ER-Telecom Holding told

According to the results of the completed project stages, the Internet in the region provides 836 objects among which 342 municipal educational institutions. Works were conducted in 436 localities and the operator already began connection of legal entities and physical persons to the Internet based on the constructed infrastructure. Residents of the village Big Chapurniki of Svetloyarsky district became the first clients.

Within the third stage which will be completed at the end of 2021 the operator will connect to worldwide network of 604 more socially important objects.
