X5 Retail Group begins to train the staff of shops in virtual reality

For training of sellers the retailer will buy 1000 VR glasses, necessary platforms of management and also the license. X5 independently manages a training system of VR, develops new courses, promotes. It allows the company to pass from long development of rates to the express designer of the training modules for the solution practically of any applied task.

During the individual occupations using VR glasses the employees undergo workflow simulation. It is the most effective format of training which allows to put practically at once the received skills into practice that, in turn, leads to growth of PTO and NPS (satisfaction of buyers). Also this technology promote improvement of such indicators as personnel turnover, labor productivity and additional sales (including joint products). The rates connected with service of buyers and the description of a number of products are already developed and implemented. After passing of these modules, employees can study using VR to skills of management and deeper specialization (cash desk, a warehouse, production etc.), says X5.

Earlier training in the VR environment was tested in 100 Perekryostok supermarkets and three hypermarkets "Karusel" in Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh, Sochi, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Perm and other cities. Within the pilot more than 1600 workers were trained.[1]
