2020: The turnover of ICT companies of Udmurtia increased by 20%, to 58.3 billion rubles

In June 2021, the Minister of Informatization and Communications of the Udmurt Republic Timur Mejitov summed up the results of 2020 in the regional ICT sector. Enterprises representing it increased turnover by 19.5%, to 58.3 billion rubles. The amount of revenues in the form of taxes and fees to the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation increased by a third and reached 2.3 billion rubles.

The average monthly salary of employees of the ICT industry in Udmurtia in 2020 increased to 46,589 rubles from 40,820 rubles in 2019.

The report also reports on the results of the development of digital infrastructure in the region. By the end of 2020, 280 socially significant objects (SZO) were connected to the Internet there, including 92 schools, 79 feldsher-midwife centers (FAP), 92 municipal administrations, two units of the Russian Guard, three fire departments and 11 fire stations.

The 2G network is available to 99.4% of the region's residents, 95.4% of people live in the 3G zone, and 93.1% of the population live in the 4G zone. More than 1.14 billion rubles were invested in the development of mobile communication infrastructure, the number of base stations reached 2046.

Fiber-optic communication lines cover 440 settlements of Udmurtia, the length of the main lines is more than 7800 km. The volume of investments in this element of infrastructure is estimated at 543 million rubles.

Udmurtia entered the top ten regions of Russia in terms of the quality of service provision in electronic form. The share of services received electronically by the population in Udmurtia exceeds 75%. 69.05% of residents of the region over 14 years old have a confirmed ESIA account.

It is also noted that all state authorities, local self-government bodies, as well as institutions of culture, education, health care are connected to the Unified Communication System, which provides e-mail, calendars and address book of all its participants.[1]
