2020: Ulyanovsk region develops models of digitalization of industries

The Ulyanovsk region became the first subject where they began to implement a unique project for the country. It involves the development of 19 target models for the digitalization of industries at the same time. The work is being carried out as part of the implementation of the national project "Digital Economy."

Almost every department has identified those responsible - "digital captains." The format of working with digital captains allows already now to create a full-fledged comprehensive pool of key digital projects in the region, approach their prioritization, to the formation of the necessary data registers, which will be collected within a single window and used in the context of each industry, as well as introduce best practices for financing these projects[1].

On August 19, as part of the Digital Day, the region defended prepared projects, the best of which were presented to the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region, Sergei Morozov. Recall that the head of the region has set the task of accelerating the introduction of digital technologies in all industries.

Work on the project of target models is carried out within the framework of an agreement between the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region and the ANO "Digital Economy." Thus, with the support of experts, digital captains for 2.5 months studied the world experience in terms of digitalization of industries and its applicability for the Ulyanovsk region, the best practices of other regions in regulatory regulation, the development of industry information systems, digital services and management models.

According to the adviser to the governor on innovative and technological development of the Ulyanovsk region, general director of the regional Agency for Technological Development Vadim Pavlov, the goal of the project to work with "digital captains" is to develop a set of measures aimed at the phased implementation of the digital transformation of the region. As a result, several best pilot projects of target models of digital transformation in the sectors of the economy and social spheres will be selected with their phased implementation in 2020.
