The ARMADA will take part in creation of the Universal Electronic Card

JSC Armada (MICEX, RTS: ARMD) announces a victory of its subsidiary company in tender of JSC Universalnaya elektronnaya karta - on creation and service of the software package "Uniform Portal of Commercial Services".

The project is a part of the public and private IT program for creation of "the Universal Electronic Card" for which in the next 5 years 150-200 billion rubles can be spent. Over time, UEC can become the electronic passport of the Russian citizens.

"The universal Electronic Card – potentially one of the largest projects in the Russian IT market. Armada plans large-scale and long participation in the UEK project, including participation in distribution of the created infrastructure in regions where there will be an issue of cards and rendering the public and commercial services to their help" - Kruglyakov Roman, the CEO of JSC Armada told.

The project of creation of "Universal Electronic Card" (UEC) of the citizen of the Russian Federation is provided by the Law "About the Organization of Providing the Public and Municipal Services" of July 27, 2010 N210-FZ. For registration and payment of such services, development and deployment of the universal electronic card which will be issued to all citizens of the Russian Federation is provided.

The universal electronic card will provide also simultaneous payment by citizens of public services, including services of the pension fund, medical services, payment of housing and public utilities, tickets, Internet services, etc. It is planned that in process of development of the project the number of the public and commercial services on the card can reach several thousand. Also a project objective is creation of a national platzhny system which will be based on the existing standards and should be commensurable on an objma of transactions with the international platzhny systems. The JSC Universalnaya elektronnaya karta company which was founded by Sberbank of the Russian Federation together with Uralsib and "Ak Bars" is appointed the coordinator and the operator of the project on implementation of the universal electronic card by the Government of the Russian Federation.

Within the contract with JSC UEK, Armada will create "The uniform portal of commercial services". Use of the portal will allow any owner of UEC, to browse information on the services registered in the register on suppliers of these services and to initiate rendering service. To suppliers of commercial services, the portal will allow to organize business processes on connection and providing new services.
