Alexander Korovnikov was born in 1969 in the city of Moscow. In 1994 he graduated from radio engineering faculty of Moscow Power Engineering Institute (the Technical University) as a radio engineer (the radio-electronic systems). And in 2005 – the Moscow international higher school of business Mirbis (MVA — Marketing program).

In 1995 Mr. Korovnikov came to JSC Moscow Cellular Communications to a position of the house keeper of subscribers, and in 1999 became the leading specialist of marketing department on market research and tariff plans.

With direct participation of Alexander several lines of perspective tariff plans which positively affected the general dynamics of sales of the company were entered. Also the new principle of tariffing of roaming subscribers which allowed to simplify and systematize settlings both with subscribers, and with regional operators was developed and implemented. Besides, Mr. Korovnikov took active part in development of a number of additional services (content services, mobile Internet access, the SMS, MMS, high-speed data transmission for a cellular network of the 3rd generation, etc.). Separately It should be noted that these services formed the basis of additional services of the new standard of communication of SDMA-450.

In December, 2002 Alexander Korovnikov held a position of the chief Sektor of regional marketing projects in JSC Mobile TeleSystems. Thanks to its efforts, the company managed to organize from "zero" Sektor's work of regional marketing projects, to implement effective schemes of interaction of Sektor with commercial blocks of the regional companies.

From September, 2003 to December, 2008 Mr. Korovnikov headed department of marketing planning and the analysis in Sonik Duo Ltd (MegaFon Moscow). During this period he was responsible for measure planning of the primary business activity of the company and formation of flexible tools of their analysis and control. Besides, the division headed by Alexander Korovnikov successfully worked on development of large-scale programs of loyalty of subscribers, performed the permanent analysis of structure and calculation of tariff plans on services for the purpose of formation of competition tariff policy and increase in profitability of the company. Also, the department of marketing planning and the analysis – under the leadership of Mr. Korovnikov and with his active personal participation – was engaged in identification of perspective client segments, the analysis and assessment of their potential requirements, develops specific methods of attraction and deduction of the available market segments.

In 2009 Alexander becomes the director of service of strategic planning in Vaptak LLC entering into Iricom group. On this post Mr. Korovnikov analyzes the key directions of development and defines key indicators of a business activity of the organization.
