TETRA network in Primorsky Krai

Tetrasvyaz company (on behalf of RadioTel Ltd), the federal operator of services of a professional radio communication, announced in May, 2011 completion of construction of the joint network of a digital trunking radio communication of the TETRA standard in Primorsky Krai. Readiness of objects of communication of TETRA for commissioning is confirmed with the conclusion of the State inspection.

The project is implemented within the Federal target program "Economic and Social Development of the Far East and Transbaikalia until 2013" and the subprogramme "Development of Vladivostok as center of the international cooperation in the Pacific Rim", approved as the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The TETRA network in Primorsky Krai consists of 12 base stations and the switch and integrates two segments: federal (the state customer - Federal Communications Agency Rossvyaz), created within preparation for the APEC summit - 2012, and investment. Now the network provides sure acceptance region in all territory of holding the summit, including the peninsula Engineer Russky Island, the city of Vladivostok and key city highway to the Knevichi airport.

"All construction and balancing and commissioning in Primorsky Krai is performed on objects of TETRA network with proper quality and according to technical and environmental standards. The construction of network is completed at the scheduled time. The next stage - input in trial operation which is planned for the second half of the year 2011", - the president of Tetrasvyaz company Alexander Moldavanov comments.

The single system of a professional radio communication will form a technology basis for the organization of effective interdepartmental interaction of authorities, the emergency city services and will become a crucial element in security of objects and participants of the APEC summit - 2012. The possibility of use of the TETRA standard as the reliable transport environment for transfer of navigation data from domestic GLONASS system allows to create end-to-end systems of monitoring, management and security in the interests of both special, and commercial users.
