OGK-4 (MECOMS)

The number of the large projects of automation in power implemented in the last several years includes the project into OGK-4. For process management of financial and economic activity in OGK-4 the ERP system based on Microsoft Dynamics AX implemented in 2008 is used. The project became the first full-scale implementation of the ERP solution in post-reform power industry and passed against the background of processes of deep conversion to the companies – integration of five historically different enterprises in one and subsequent integration of the company into large-scale international concern (E.ON AG). System implementation allowed to provide transparency of processes of financial and economic management for the owner (in 2007 E.ON AG becomes it), shareholders and auditors. In particular, OGK-4 passed to a unified plan of accounts and uniform account policy, at the enterprise practice of fast closing of the accounting period (Fast Closing) was entered. Today for the 8th working day of the month following reporting the company receives consolidated statement according to the IFRS standards. In January, 2011 transition to the new version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 came to the end. Development of the ERP system continues.
