The RusHydro company prepares IT infrastructure of new office

The Asteros company started creation of IT infrastructure of new office of the RusHydro generation company.

Background

To increase efficiency and to centralize management of branches, RusHydro made the decision on construction of modern office for central office of holding. Creation of the reliable IT platform which, on the one hand, will support an effective and full-fledged work of staff of office became the priority task set for the general contractor of Asteros, and with another – will provide the continuity of business processes of the company.

Earth and plans

Within half a year on the area more than 10 thousand sq.m specialists of Asteros will unroll ten subsystems of an infrastructure complex among which SCS, a local computer network, a server framework, the IP telephony and also the multimedia systems of meeting rooms, including the system of a video conferencing.

Basis for functioning of computing and telecommunication systems of office will become the intellectual structured cabling system based on the solution Panduit Panveiw which will contain 2000 ports and will cover 6 floors of the building. All key components of subsystems of an infrastructure complex will be controlled by the system of pro-active intellectual monitoring. A system will provide control over IT infrastructure in real time, will allow to reduce operating costs and to provide protection against unauthorized or unplanned changes.

The complex of the multimedia systems with the distributed audio-and video content and centralized operation includes the equipment for equipment of 12 meeting rooms, the conference hall of board, offices of directors of departments and chief specialists. Will top a complex the system of a video conferencing which can use practically from any office space.
