The Birpark company implements a new mail system

In BIRPARK company the Softline company unrolled modern IT infrastructure on the basis of Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008.

Background

Having analyzed a status of an enterprise information system, the management of BIRPARK Ltd came to a conclusion about need of its upgrade.

Former IT infrastructure had a number of shortcomings which the company management faced: it required considerable labor costs on administration and service of net surfers, posed security risk, did not allow to organize the convenient environment for interaction and exchange of documents between employees. Ensuring effective communications, quality improvement and service rates required transition to more modern mail system. Increase in fault tolerance of a system at expense optimization on support of infrastructure was a key condition at solution development.

For project implementation on creation of an automated system of e-mails the Softline company was selected. After carrying out short audit, identification of problems and assessment of the existing infrastructure specialists of Softline proposed the solution Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 Premium intended for the small organizations and developed the plan of creation of domain and mail infrastructure.

Solution

Within the project for BIRPARK Ltd the following works were implemented: the server operating system of Windows Server 2008 StE is installed, will deploy the mail server based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, the installed service of Microsoft Software Update Services allowing to perform and control the centralized updating of computers of network. In a work progress specialists of Softline performed migration of mailboxes and configured work of a new mail system.

Result

Softline completed the project on upgrade of IT infrastructure of BIRPARK Ltd within which transition to the modern mail system which allowed the company to increase business performance and to organize the convenient environment for fast communications was performed. As a result of implementation of Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 Premium of a labor cost were considerably reduced by service of an information system of BIRPARK Ltd.
