Telas (ESET NOD32)

The ESET company announced in July, 2011 delivery of 750 licenses of anti-virus solution of ESET NOD32 Business Edition to the power distribution Georgian distribution company "Telasi". Delivery was performed by the partner of ESET, LTD "Delta Systems" company.

JSC Telasi is power distribution company which owns high-voltage networks of a class of 110-35 kV and distribution networks of a class of 10-0.4 kV in the city of Tbilisi and the adjacent territory with the population about 1.2 million inhabitants. Now "Telasi" operates the electric network with a total length of 3,782 km. The company is one of the largest distributors in power market of Georgia.

Stable work of the companies of the power industry depends on different factors, including on reliable protection of computer networks against the malware and the hacker attacks. Failure of work in power supply company can leave hundreds of thousands of people without electricity.
