TicketForEvent is the multifunctional online-service integrating online-registration with payment process, providing with e-tickets and badges. This solution for expansion of a sales channel on the Internet created for event managers of different scale.

Using TicketForEvent users can add on the website modules of questioning, registration of participants, registration of badges and sale of e-tickets on several payment channels at once and also to get access to the analysis of statistics in the personal account.

Thanks to TicketForEvent sale of tickets becomes automated, and registration of visitors happens qualitatively and quickly, without additional costs. In turn, visitors of actions can quickly purchase tickets, having paid them with any convenient method available in the region from which purchase will be made.

2019

  • Service works at the territory of Russia and Ukraine. The central office TicketForEvent is in London.

2018

  • The annual turnover grew to $22 one million, and the number of the sold tickets through service is more than half a million a year.
  • The project reached operational self-sufficiency and provides growth of all indicators in the current markets, without investments.

2016

2014

Clients of service sold for 2014 more than 200,000 tickets, 150,000 of them – on events with a paid input. In total using service over 5,000 business, educational and entertaining actions were held, and the share of paid events grew twice – from 1.2 to 2.3 thousand. The customer base of TicketForEvent also increased in more than 2 times. Work in the Russian market provided to service the main share of revenue – 60%, other income was brought by foreign clients (England, Ukraine, Turkey, Argentina and Mexico).

Business events in the expiring year were in the lead in popularity among other categories of actions. Business conferences, exhibitions, seminars and master classes made 60% of the total number of the events held using TicketForEvent. Considerably the share of entertaining, sports and mass events which are serviced by service grew. Today the project takes the leading positions among similar online services, working generally with large and average players of the market of organization of events.

In 2014 service strengthened the positions in the market of festivals and sports competitions. Among clients of service, more than twenty organizers of the largest festivals 2014, among them one of the largest musical events of Europe, the musical Sziget festival and also the Race of Heroes 2014 project is the first sports race of the All-Russian scale which is taking place with assistance of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.

Buyers of tickets for entertaining actions this year generally paid off with bank cards – such payment method was selected by 95% of users. Online payments are widespread in a business segment not so widely: 50% of participants among whom representatives of the corporate sector prevail still select a traditional payment method on the bank account.

"In general year passed successfully though in its second half both business, and entertaining actions were cancelled more often in comparison with the "pre-crisis" period. Next year risks for organizers will even more grow, and it will negatively affect small and average players. Afloat unambiguously there will be strongest market participants who are capable to transfer damage from the broken events and falling of consumer activity, - Stanislav Birov comments on CEO TicketForEvent. - Events will become a little less, but the amplified fight for visitors will lead to increase in their quality, in crisis people are ready to pay only for the best. At the same time, being afraid to lose clients, organizers will hardly begin to raise ticket prices".

2013

In December, 2013 it became known that according to experts from AVentures Capital, the TicketForEvent service as a part of the ExpoPromoGroup project passed into discharge of global projects of e-commerce of Ukraine.

In October, 2013 in Kiev there took place the international IDCEE 2013 conference. On an action the report of the managing partner of AVentures Capital venture fund Evgeny Sysoyev with assessment of the market and leading companies was submitted. In the research the investor turned on TicketForEvent service in number of the most successful a startup stories with the Ukrainian roots. The total cost of market leaders in IT the sector of Ukraine exceeds $1 billion.

"$1 billion is not just beautiful digit, but real group appraisal of the most successful companies in the market of Ukraine. It is already difficult to call the majority of these projects exclusively Ukrainian, many of them outgrew the local level and became international. It belongs also to ExpoPromoGroup group where ExpoPromoter and TicketForEvent services enter. Anyway our research gives the clear answer to a hackneyed question – and whether we can do successful world-class IT projects", - Evgeny Sysoyev comments.

Service became the winner of the Grand Prix of the award "Clouds" in 2013.

2012

On a project startup 3 million dollars were invested. Revenue for 2012 made 2.5 million euros. The number of the sold tickets through service – 410 thousand.

For 2012 74% of participants of business conferences, seminars and trainings paid for them on the Internet: more than a half (56%) used bank cards of Visa and MasterCard for payment, 14% are electronic money, and 4% - Internet banking. The others selected offline methods of payments, in particular, bank transfers and terminals.

Statistics received by TicketForEvent in 2012 shows that the popularity of bank cards remains at the previous level so far. The share of bank transfers with which the companies traditionally paid participation in business orientation actions fell: a year ago 24% of users resorted to this payment method, and in 2013 - 17%. The share of electronic money (Yandex.Money, WebMoney, QIWI) in a year considerably increased. In 2012 9% of participants of actions, and in 2013 - 14% paid off with them. This payment type was most often used by participants of the conferences connected with IT and e-commerce.

2011: Project startup

The project was started in 2011. Investors: the founder of the project is Gennady Netyaga and Abele Ventures venture fund.

For 2011 uses TicketForEvent service a number of the companies among which: ACCO International, Take Advantage Venture (TA Venture), BVV Trade Fairs Brno Co. (Veletrhy Brno, a.s.), Fiera Milano SpA and many others.

Service is successfully tested during the spring exhibition season of 2011 both on small actions, and at large exhibitions.

In addition our service has potential of creation by the organizer of the event of own affiliate-network for customer acquisition with payment SRA-model to web partner that considerably optimizes costs for marketing of an action and will make cooperation more controlled and transparent".
