Content

The Aeneas company completed the project of automation of the car dealer of the Northern company. At the heart of an information system industry solution "DALION: Car market".

Project Background

The central office of the company is in Vologda, branches in the cities of area. The software used earlier did not allow to obtain quickly from branches necessary management information. Data were synchronized once a day, part of them came investments in e-mails - it was necessary to spend a lot of time for their collecting, processing and the analysis. Reports on internal requirements prepared manually that was rather labor-consuming, considering separation of information bases of branches.

Before company management there was a question of transition to the new software which could increase significantly service rate of clients, integrate data in branches for obtaining the consolidated information on the enterprise, limit actions of users according to their job responsibilities.

In the course of the analysis which is available in the software market solutions on 1C: Enterprise platform, and specialized developments of foreign and domestic manufacturers were considered.

Stress testing was held. Following the results the software product " is selected by DALION: A car market", developed on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform.

Solution

Project implementation was conducted by two companies: SoftBalance and Aeneas. Specialists of SoftBalance company performed local completion of a product for specific objectives of the client, Aeneas company - support of a product on places.

Opinion

Marat Mitkevich, head of IT service of group of companies "Northern": "The lack of the consolidated accounting created serious problems in work of our company. Delays in receipt of information attracted tightening of terms of repair and delivery of spare parts that negatively affected customer relations. The lack of flexible configuration of user rights and low speed of a response of the old program also did not add enthusiasm, - it was necessary to change a system. We very carefully selected and tested the new software, analyzed several options. The choice "DALION: Car market" and our suppliers we made quite consciously: at a system there is all stated functionality, it is convenient to it to use and it can be finished. The companies "SoftBalance" and "Aeneas" professionally advised us on a test stage therefore we were sure of successful cooperation".

Results

Severny Group received the system of management accounting of services of car service and sale of spare parts integrating more than 70 jobs in 4 branches of the Vologda region.

Project Results

Speed of work with documents is much increased that positively influenced both accomplishment by employees of the tasks, and on customer relations. The last spend significantly less time at a front desk. New mechanisms of control of user rights, for example, will lock sales of goods below the "threshold" price, allowed to increase profitability of sales of auto parts by 10%. The transparent scheme of tracking of the order of spare parts for clients taking into account data on all branches allowed to reduce warehouse stocks and to increase goods turnover rate in a warehouse. The analysis of the missed demand, formation of supplier orders on the basis of intensity of sales, the minimum and maximum remaining balance, and other data allows to optimize a warehouse, always to have near at hand popular positions and in time to satisfy requests of clients.

As result, we reduced quantity of errors in orders and customer complaints, reduced quantity of an illiquid asset in a warehouse.
