August 1

This day in 1995 "the Network Academy Lanit" – training center, division of the group of the same name was founded. The main activity – corporate projects of advanced training of personnel in information technology fields and the authorized training of specialists IT.

In the same day in 2000 there began work the OpenComs company. It is subsidiary company JSC Central Telegraph, is created as the structure developing services on the basis of new information and Internet technologies.

August 2

August Sergey Belousov, the chief executive of Parallels was born. Was born in Leningrad, lives and works in Russia, Singapore and Switzerland. Sergey has the bachelor's degree of physics, the honors degree of the master of physics and electrical equipment, degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in Information science of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. In 1994 Belousov opened office in Singapore from there to coordinate deliveries of component parts for TVs. Later Sergey began to be engaged in implementation of ERP systems, and this office turned into office of Standard & Western Software (SWsoft) company. Later the company received a new name – Parallels.

August 3

On August 3, 2010 the Research In Motion company at last conference in New York submitted the new version of the operating system for the smartphones - BlackBerry OS 6. During its creation developers concentrated on the next moments. First, to make the interface "paltseoriyentirovanny", having saved an ability to manage using the trackball. Secondly, to improve multimedia opportunities. Thirdly to improve opportunities for web surfing. And, fourthly, to simplify access to messages and social networks.

Graduated from the Leningrad polytechnical institute on  a pospetsialnost "Automatic equipment and telemechanics", the first father-in-law of years after release worked in IT departments of JSB Kredobank banks, JSB Russia, JSC Menatep SPB Bank and others. Ramax International was the adviser to the vice president in "GROS consolidated company", executive directors. In 2007-2009 held a post of the director of the department of development and control, a business unit "Telecommunication assets" in JSC AFK Sistema. On October 6, 2009 it is appointed the deputy CEO for information technologies of Aeroflot company.

August 5

August Dmitry Andrianov was born. Founder and CEO of Prognoz Ltd. Doctor of physical and mathematical  sciences, academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Professor of department of economic cybernetics of Perm State University.

August 6

On August 6 Evgeny Lukyanchuk, the technical director VimpelCom (regions) was born.

One more birthday boy of day - Kevin Mitnik, the consultant for information security, the teacher. In the past — the legendary hacker who is most wanted in the United States the cybercriminal. Jew. Kevin Mitnik's activity with some conventions is displayed in the movie Track Down by Joe Shapel shot in 2000 according to the book by Tsutoma Shimomura, the hacker who was directly involved in Mitnik's capture. Still this work causes a set of a controversy on plausibility of events. Mitnik wrote two books, first of which "Deception art", and the second was called "Invasion art".
