  • Pavel Gurov graduated from the Russian Chemical and Technology University of Mendeleyev, was trained in IEDC (Bled School of Management) according to the General Management Program program.

  • Before arrival to Olympus company Pavel Gurov worked 14 years in the Russian representative office of Kodak.

  • To Olympus Pavel came in October, 2009 to a position of the sales director of department of a photo and audio of the equipment. For this period it was succeeded to adjust stable functioning of all elements of business of the Russian division of the company: from logistics before support of the end consumer, there were new partners, work of department became more structured, sales increased, the market share increased, special attention began to be paid to business development and more effective and high-quality work in regions.

  • On August 01, 2011 the Olympus company announced Pavel Gurov's appointment to a post of the director of the department of a photo and audio of the equipment. Since August 1, 2011 Pavel Gurov replaced at this position of Chenisciiro Mori who worked at the Russian office of the company more than three years.

Pavel Gurov is responsible for business development of Olympus and strengthening of positions of the company in the market of a photo and audio of the equipment. Enter tasks of Mr. Gurov – development of strategy of promotion of products in the market, formation of a lineup, pricing and expansion of sales channels.

Pavel Gurov emphasized: "The Russian division of Olympus company rather young, but we achieved already much. Owing to the fact that the market intensively and promptly grows we are not limited to momentary result. For us it is much more important to see perspectives and to have plans for several years ahead. Considering dynamics of market development of a photo and audio equipment in Russia, we try to be the most mobile, flexible and quickly to react to changes and requirements of Russian market and the Russian consumer".
