Revenues of PTC in a year will grow by 60%

The PTC company, the world developer of software solutions for automated design and data management, reports financial results for the third quarter 2011 (March-June). Financial year of RTS corporation is shifted rather calendar period.

Revenue of corporation for the third quarter of 2011 financial year made $292.5 million in comparison with $243 million for the same period of 2010. Revenue in $7 million received recently by MKS acquired company which purchase became the second largest transaction in the history of the company enters this amount.

The corporation received 42% of the total quarter turnover from sales of solutions for management to data in the market of the large companies. The corporation received 27% of all quarter turnover from sales of the solutions on SMB the market. And sales of the PLM solution for the medium-sized and small companies grew by 33% in comparison with similar quarter of last year.

The expected income in the fourth quarter is estimated 2011 at $320-330 million, and total income for all is expected 2011 financial year of $1150-1160 million. Last year the RTS corporation earned a little more than $1 billion. Is in the plans of corporation to reach the level of $1600 million in 2014.

James Heppelmann, the president and the chief executive of PTC, notes: "Income from sale of licenses in the third financial quarter grew by 18%, last quarter – for 15%. In the third financial quarter we concluded 27 large deals (licenses and service), more than $1 million everyone, in the second quarter 2011 24 similar transactions, and in the third quarter were carried out 2010. – 14. We consider that it is an indicator of our business opportunities with the new and existing clients. For the third financial quarter of year we closed transactions with such companies as BAE Systems, ESPRIT Europe GMBH, Force Protection, Robert Bosch, the U.S. Department of Energy, Weatherford".

In the spring of this year upgraded version of a system on product data management of Windchill 10.0 entered the market, and in June the company started widely advertized new automated design engineering system of PTC Creo 1.0 in sale. In terms of expansion of a product portfolio it "tremendous year", the top manager said.

Also PTC purchased MKS company which will allow her clients to coordinate better management of hardware and program components of one product and to create the innovation products. It was the second in value transaction in the history of the company which will allow to purchase corporations strong competitive advantages in the long term. "Our positions of the technology leader, undoubtedly, become stronger every day", – Heppelmann concluded.

On survey results of Rosstat, 16% of costs for IT leave on software. Today the volume of the Russian market of PLM (software solutions for product data management) is estimated by experts at $100-200 million a year.
