Dispatching service GLONASS in SAFU

At technical support of the regional partner of M2M Telematics Group in Arkhangelsk, the regional partner of NIS GLONASS – M2M GLONASS company - at the Northern Arctic Federal University (NAFU) it is going to create dispatching service which will control in real time movement of the vehicles and vessels equipped with GLONASS equipment. Also within the project the profile department based on Institute of complex security will be created.

According to Vadim Mishchenko, the development director of M2M GLONASS company, in the Arkhangelsk region the regional dispatching center M2M Telematics Group - M2M GLONASS successfully works. In the region the telematic platform which allows to process an unlimited number of information on navigation and monitoring of transport is created, to keep the statistical recording of transport and to collect all information, necessary for clients.

"The task to equip with GLONASS equipment the marine transport plying in waters of the Arctic seas is set for us. Now the project on creation of the logistic center designed to ensure safety of the marine transport in high latitudes develops. In particular, offers on ensuring GLONASS monitoring of a transport corridor of the Northern Sea Route are developed", - Vadim Mishchenko noted.

On September 21, 2011 during the II Arctic forum "The Arctic — the Territory of Dialog" with participation of the Minister of Emergency Situations Sergey Shoygu the Institute of complex security will be open. It is planned that in the same day there will take place the presentation of the audience dispatching working with the GLONASS satellite technologies. Within the project, the M2M GLONASS company will equip vehicles with the equipment of GLONASS and will set the special software allowing to monitor movement of transport in dispatching office.

The actions plan on training of audience dispatching will be equipment procurement of GLONASS for students of department of the water transport, the wood and hydraulics. Creation based on Institute of advanced training and retraining of personnel of "school of managers" based on which the specialists of the enterprises using GLONASS technologies could be trained can become one of the perspective directions of cooperation.
