Prokonsim passed with Dynamics NAV 3.7 to Dynamics NAV 2009

Since 2003 the company uses Microsoft Dynamics NAV 3.7. All these years a system allowed the company to develop dynamically, flexibly adapting to changes. But in 2010 the management of firma «PROKONSIM Ltd made the decision of an output of IT infrastructure of the company to new level. In this connection the decision of change of the current version of the ERP system with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 was made.

The complexity of this project was predetermined by the following factors:

• methodological: parallel maintaining two stages of project implementation – design and development – because of deadlines;
• integration: need to save deep integration between several enterprise management systems;
• architectural: the large volume of modifications of the previous system which functionality needs to be transferred to the new version.

Within project implementation transfer of PROKONSIM company on the new version of a system – Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 is complete: the functionality taking into account modifications from modules of purchase, sale, logistics is transferred and also modules accounting and tax accounting are implemented. For preserving of analytical information, data for the last few years from the previous version are transferred to new. And, to provide the largest performance of work of new release, historical data were transferred as archive.

As a result the PROKONSIM company received the modern and functional tool for management of the activity.
