Contract of upgrade of a core of a transit network Multiregional Transit Telecom (MTT)

On August 24, 2011 NPO Angstrem entering into Angstrem group, the Russian producer of microelectronics and products of the electronic equipment signed the long-term contract with JSC Multiregional Transit Telecom (MTT) on upgrade of a core of a transit network based on the equipment of Huawei company, the world leader in the development area of solutions ICT.

The equipment which delivery, installation and integration will be made by NPO Angstrem is intended for upgrade of a transit network of MTT. With its help the operator will be able to provide all range of services on transit of traffic using the high-speed IP trunk. Until the end of 2011 MTT is going to invest more than 100 million rubles in this project.

The contract with MTT became the first successful result of cooperation of NPO Angstrem and Huawei within the agreement signed by the companies in June of this year. The agreement provides creation of coproduction of products of the electronic equipment and telecommunication equipment in Zelenograd situated near Moscow and also implementation of finished goods to telecom operators and corporate clients in the territory of the Russian Federation.

The president of Angstrem group Tabolkin Alexey Mikhaylovich noted: "Now we perform functions of integrator, working procedures of delivery and installation of the ready equipment. Further, after start of the assembly line meeting the modern international standards we will supply the equipment assembled at us on Angstrem to MTT. For us it is new competence and we expect to come using our partners for professional rendering all range of services in upgrade of communication networks – from production of telecommunication equipment before service support and maintenance".
