According to the top managers given a new research of Antal Russia, the highest salaries offer in FMCG, the oil and gas industry and the banking sector. It is interesting that these sectors are also leaders in rates of hiring of middle managers and directors.

The trends which are a little differing from the general work for a position of the Chief information officer. So, the greatest number of vacancies for Chief information officers opens in the high-growth industries, such as retail and e-commerce. The high demand is noted also in the pharmaceutical sector, the report says.

As Maxim Tsarsky, the consultant of department of IT/Technical Antal Russia, "based on that picture of the market which we observe in return, one may say, that the smallest demand for Chief information officers is noted in the oil and gas industry and a telecom"[[Imperial Maxim|]] told TAdviser.

According to him, concerning demand and supply in this segment of the personnel market a certain parity was established. Candidates are rather active, and each vacancy of CIO receives many responses, there is also a lot of vacancies. "However the candidates who are really suitable on a position are not enough. Therefore it is rather possible to speak about somebody staff deficit", - he added.

According to the research Antal Russia, growth of the fixed wage level of CIO stopped, the companies attract candidates with bonus schemes. Depending on the industry the size of a bonus can reach 100% and more from an annual income.

As for salaries of Chief information officers in the separate vertical industries, the smallest compensations offer CIO in the industries of FMCG and B2B – to 180 thousand on the lower level. In IT sectors, bank, retail, pharmaceutics and an oil and gas industry the lower salary level for a position of CIO is at the level of 200 thousand rubles. It should be noted that the upper bound of salary range for all segments is quite indistinct: the maximum offers can reach 350-450 thousand rubles.

As Alexey Zakharov, the president of the recruiting Superjob portal, in a conversation with TAdviser noted, that the greatest number of vacancies for IT tops is delivered by the sphere of sales, "there is nothing surprising". As this sphere dominates also on the total amount of vacancies in labor market. So, for example, the sphere of sales on the Superjob.ru portal placed 16% of vacancies of all vacancies of a resource. On the second place there is a financial and accounting sphere – 10.5% of vacancies of a resource, on the third the administrative sphere of-10.4% of vacancies, he told.
