The Alliance Healthcare Russia company implements a monitoring system of IT infrastructure of the company

Softline completed implementations in Alliance Helskea Rus of a monitoring system of servers based on Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 (SCOM 2007) for the purpose of improvement of information infrastructure of the company.

Background

Earlier for monitoring of keyword parameters of the systems of Microsoft in the company the product Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 was used. Over time infrastructure of the company expanded, more modern system which would allow to carry out monitoring not of separate servers and applications was required, and to control operability of applications in a complex. For selection of the software product the Softline company was invited.

Solution

For solving of tasks of condition monitoring of the distributed applications Softline suggested to implement the management system on the basis of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 intended for comprehensive management of services.

After the careful analysis of infrastructure and formation of requirements to future system on the basis of the completed questionnaire, specialists Softline developed architecture of future system: on the server it was going to install Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 also Microsoft SQL Server 2008 with the database, on the observed systems – agents of the SCOM 2007 system.

Within the project implementation of monitoring of the distributed applications was a main objective. Specialists of Softline configured a chain of interrelation of systems – Microsoft applications, the hardware of Hewlett-Packard, network equipment, verifiability of availability of the channel and external FTP server.

Result

In a project deliverable specialists Alliance Helskea Rus received the management tool services Microsoft Windows which allowed to increase efficiency of infrastructure and to expand control over IT systems.
