Corporate mail of the Russian division Squesito is transferred to a cloud service of Microsoft Hosted Exchange 2010

Softline – the supplier of SaaS products and services to end users from Russia, the CIS countries and foreign countries – informs on project completion on migration of corporate mail of the Russian division of Squesito company on a cloud service of Microsoft Hosted Exchange 2010 and transfer of a part of IT infrastructure of the company in a cloud.

The Russian division of Squesito company is founded in 2008 and is engaged in import of the Italian coffee. For several years of successful development the company built the developed distributor network with the versatile system of representations in the territory of Russia and the CIS. Due to the geographically-distributed structure of offices and active growth of the company before IT service of the company there was a problem of search of a flexible and scalable product for the organization of failsafe service of corporate mail. Own solution which was used earlier did not meet all requirements of modern business and needs of the organization. Increase in level of availability of corporate mail and increase in mobility of employees was the main criterion and a wish of the company to a new product. The management made the decision on transfer of corporate mail and part of IT infrastructure of the company to a cloud.

After the analysis of market situation and relevant opportunities of the Russian suppliers of solutions SaaS the IT department of Squesito stopped on cloud services of Softline company: Microsoft Hosted Exchange 2010 and cloud hosting of CloudServer. The first part of the project included transfer of corporate mail to a cloud and its Active Directory integration. In parallel with it all necessary conditions on migration of a part of IT infrastructure, critical for business, on a cloud hosting were studied and created.

Microsoft Hosted Exchange 2010 is a cloud version of the well-known solution of Microsoft. Service gives ample opportunities on creation of corporate mail and also allows to adjust joint work, providing to employees the general access to files and calendars. The ability to integrate Microsoft Hosted Exchange 2010 with the Active Directory of the customer for ensuring uniformity of setup of the user working environment and security policies became the main argument when choosing this service from Softline company.

Thanks to cloud model the service allows to get access to mail, calendars, tasks from any place in the presence of an Internet access, providing, thereby, the continuity of business processes. Availability of service of 99.9% is guaranteed to transparent SLA with financial guarantees, and the fault tolerance is provided due to placement of service in the data centers conforming to requirements of the Tier 3 standard.

Within the second part of the project most of workers of the services entering IT infrastructure of the company were transferred to a cloud, process occupied the minimum quantity of time and was implemented in short terms. Thanks to service of a cloud hosting CloudServer it was succeeded to construct the deployed, reliable and easily scalable IT-system of the company.
