Enciphering hardware-software complexes Continent in Promtransbank

The Ufa representative office of Softline signed the agreement on delivery of information security tools of Code of Security for Promtransbank LLC. The cost of the contract was more than two and a half million rubles.

Promtransbank is created in 1993 and is the universal bank performing all main types of the banking activities presented at the market of financial services including service of private and corporate clients, investment banking business, trade financing and asset management. For all years of work in Promtransbank financial market follows the right rules of conducting banking that allowed the company safely and without loss to endure economic crises and to continue to develop steadily, being guided by the principle: "any disappointed client".

The information structure of bank represents the single corporate network built including on solutions of Code of Security company and including all computer hardware of head office in Ufa, branch in Moscow and 38 departments. It is rather extensive network which needs to be supported in current status. Due to the increase in number of departments there was a need of the organization of the selected corporate network which would be safe and protected from the possible external attacks. It was required to pick up the solution which underwent certification of FSB and FSTEC. The solution of Code of Security company was at that time the only thing in the market the product which is completely meeting all requirements of Promtransbank.

"We considered also products from foreign vendors, but as it became clear, many solutions at that time were not certified yet therefore a choice was made for benefit of software and hardware solutions for data protection from domestic manufacturer – Code of Security, – Chekalsky Victor Vitalyevich, the head of department of information technologies of Promtransbank LLC tells. – And a decisive factor was the fact that the product conforms to requirements of the Russian legislation, state standard specifications and standards".

Products of Code of Security are applied in all information security fields, such as confidential information protection, personal data, environments of virtualization, a trade and state secret. High quality of products of the company is confirmed by certificates on the information security tools issued by FSTEC, the Ministry of Defence and FSB of Russia.

A choice of software provider was made for benefit of Softline having the status Premier Enterprise Partner of vendor. The certified specialists of the company successfully consulted the customer in the course of acquisition of the solution which setup was performed by forces of IT employees of the bank. Technical support was given by Code of Security company.
