Process automation of management of IT for Bank the Forum based on OmniTracker

The OmniWay company, the partner of OMNINET company, announces the successful termination of the next stage of the project on process automation of management of IT in public joint-stock society "BANK FORUM" — universal bank which provides a full range of banking services and services more than 500,000 clients.

In 2009 the bank made the decision on process automation of management of IT. Road Map which defined need of the organization of service Service Desk and also an order and an implementation time of management processes of IT was made. Since then implementation of management processes of IT happens in strict accordance with the drawn-up plans, and today divisions of IT of bank in the daily activity are guided by rules of the following developed processes:

itsidentam, works, configurations, changes, problems, knowledge. The carried-out inventory and standardization of addresses of users allowed to standardize and simplify processing of a large number of user queries, in the current directory their more than hundred now. Implementation of new approach allowed to increase service quality of users by change of the principles of the organization of work of IT departments of bank. As the automation equipment the bank selected the modern platform for process automation of management — OMNITRACKER.

OMNITRACKER is integrated with the MS SCCM system which provides information on a part of IT infrastructure and on the automated banking system. Divisions of IT received the common information space allowing to reach along with the organization of resource and service model transparency in a question of control of quality of execution of works, carried-out not only own forces, but also the contract organizations rendering services for bank in the field of IT.

In addition to automation of IT processes, OMNITRACKER is used for accounting of own and leased real estate of bank, contractual relations, processing of a large number of requests in Department of the general support.

In plans — automation of accounting of the actual time spent by employees of IT for accomplishment of tasks, availability control by releases and other processes which implementation the bank approaches consciously and it is prepared.

Yaremchuk Yaroslav, the chief project manager and programs of Department of information technologies of Bank tells the Forum about the project: "If earlier the IT service carried out separate technical tasks and projects, then today it is considered as the service organization rendering services. Thanks to process automation of management of IT based on the OMNITRACKER platform we had an opportunity to render our services more quickly and qualitatively. Managers of processes who responsibly monitor observance by participants of all rules and procedures are responsible for management processes. I will note that consulting services to us are provided by OmniWay company which became the winner of tender among five participating companies. The technique and wide experience of consultants of OmniWay allowed to achieve effective objectives in compressed project terms in full accordance with expectations from the project. The company is as well the certified supplier of a specialized software of OMNITRACKER. This software is rather young, but thanks to the correct architecture and a large number of proposed solutions is dynamically developed. OMNITRACKER developer is the German company OMNINET. Clients of this developer, for example, are such known companies as Deutsche Telekom, RTL Belgium, European Parliament and others".
