The TNK Lubricants company (enters into TNK-BP group) completed the project of creation of schedule system and optimization of production based on the ORTEMS APS system with the assistance of AND Project company (enters into Sistematika group).

TNK Lubricants (SM MNC) is engaged in production of lubricants and special liquids for use in passenger and commercial transport and also for a broad spectrum of industrial equipment. The company is included into group of TNK-BP. As a result of upgrade of the oil unit of Ryazan Oil Refining Company (RNPK) - head production division of the company – TNK Lubricants had an opportunity to use the most modern production technologies of finished goods.

In addition to maintenance of steadily high-quality products for SM MNC the important requirement is accomplishment of the assumed liabilities to partners in full in the terms specified by the client. For maintenance of steadily high-quality products and for receiving up-to-date data the company management made the decision to implement an implementation project of the Ortems APS system on the current stock levels of finished goods and the arrived client orders. As the consultant and the partner attracted AND Project company.

TNK Lubricants is the company of a full stroke of production: from base oil to the packed-up products. For the solution of a problem of optimization of production two key stages of technology process – production of oil and packing were selected. At the same time the specifics of production dictated the scheme at which planning of transaction of packing is based with streamlining by date of required shipment taking into account restrictions, and transactions of mixing can be planned as the additional restrictions having an impact on packing work.

TNK Lubricants together with experts of AND Project company more than 200 product names on 5 production lines implemented schedule system and packing optimization. Such specific parameters as change of a format of a container, a wash of the equipment and the requirement for observance of a certain order of packing of different groups of oils were considered. For optimization of planning of mixing seven limiters on which these or those types of products should be built consistently, proceeding from the frequency of delivery and the maximum production volume on mixing were entered. Also in the solution rules of compatibility of commodity groups are considered to avoid damage of components and excess costs for washing.

In a project deliverable the centralized system of planning and optimization of production which covered two regions – the central office in Moscow (production planning) and the plant in Ryazan where automated workplaces on issue of replaceable tasks and data entry about the fact of their accomplishment are unrolled was created.

The Ortems system allowed to create the balanced production program on the basis of the needs for finished goods, the normative reference information and the fact of release on production lines. By optimization of technology transitions on lines of packing loading of the equipment and management of a remaining balance of finished goods are optimized. Results of planning are available in the form of a replaceable task, and online it is possible to monitor placement of lots of products on production lines, priorities of order placement and planned dates. Taking into account a situation with delivery of components for mixing adjustment of the production schedule is possible, at the same time terms of production are automatically updated in a system.

From integrated with Ortems ERP- systems SAP information on requirements on shipment of finished goods arrives. Data from an automated workplace on accomplishment of batches are used for updating and adjustment of the plan upon accomplishment of batches.
