Mobile operators actively are engaged in creation of a system of tariff plans which using different offers and additional options will satisfy the maximum number of clients and, thus, will allow to justify investments into network. That it occurred, it is necessary to integrate billing and management of politicians, consider system integrators.

Amdocs summed up the results of the global research conducted by Heavy Reading analytical company. Its main output is the following: the telecom operator it is necessary to integrate the systems of billing and management of politicians for formation of new price strategy in services of data transmission.

Telecommunication companies need to return the means invested in construction of new communication networks. All of them are faced by a problem of formation of such tariff policy which would make for them the maximum profit. "We predict emergence of a large number of different rates as with the advent of new tablet computers and smartphones, such as iPhone, Black Berry Touch and N-series Nokia, consumption of traffic as avalanche increased", - the senior analyst of Heavy Reading Arius AriBanerjee noted.

According to him for this reason integration of billing into solutions for management of price policies is very relevant now. At the same time operators look for ready-made solutions as attempts to integrate these systems together by forces of internal departments often fail and demand excess costs.

So, during the research of 83% of respondents said that their departments of marketing ask IT departments about a possibility of creation of the innovation rates for services of data transmission. More than 90% said that they want to develop rates for the different directions of business, types of clients and payment methods.

Besides, 86% of suppliers of telecommunication services are going to start rates of different classes, and 82% are going to create special rates for different devices. At the same time 67%gotovyat "family" tariff plans.

85% of respondents are sure of need of integration of the systems of billing and management of politicians. This integration will allow service providers to offer the subscribers the rates meeting their requirements, depending on type of devices, the network status, client information and other parameters.

IT departments consider this task difficult. 80% of respondents are not sure that the management systems for politicians which are available for them will be able to process the new rules concerning networks (for example, management of width of the channel) and to consumption (payment methods, limits on traffic). 10% already tried to integrate billing and management of politicians and failed.

The vice president of Amdocs Rebecca Prudhomme, reminded that new services should be simple and intuitive for normal subscribers. The price strategy based on consumption volume can help with it. For example, the service for demonstration of movies online, should consider the volume of traffic and necessary speed in advance for comfortable viewing for which clients will be ready to pay more, she said.

The research uses the data obtained during the interview with 64 directors of departments (IT and marketing), vice presidents and the CEOs from 32 telecommunication companies from Europe and Russia (13), North America (9) and the Pacific Rim (10). Interviews were conducted during the period from May to July, 2011.
