Dalrybtekhcentre implements a management system for engineering data 1C:PDM

For the purpose of increase in efficiency of process of preparation of production JSC Dalrybtekhcentre selected the solution 1C:PDM Management of Engineering Data.

JSC Dalrybtekhcentre was founded in 1939 and is the main enterprise in Far East specializing in development and production of the fish-processing equipment and its repair. From the very first days based on the enterprise the design-technology bureau which is engaged in development new and upgrade of the existing equipment was created.

At the moment at the enterprise design and technology departments consist generally of young, experienced specialists. Designers of the enterprise work in the 3D environment - modeling of SolidWorks 2011.

Because systems which are allowing to store and manage orderly data on a product as regarding design developments, and manufacturing techniques, and having uniform base with the ERP system, at the enterprise there was a question of the choice of such system among the information technologies presented at the Russian market gain ground.

As a result the company management of JSC Dalrybtekhcentre made the decision on system implementation 1C:PDM. Existence of a possibility of collective work on a product both designers, and technologists – in a common information space and also existence of instruments of bilateral integration into the SolidWorks 2011 CAD system and the accounting system so relevant now, a possibility of configuring of a system by forces of specialists of IT division (openness of source codes) was the main selection terms among the existing PDM systems. Important was also financial side of a question of acquisition and system implementation.

From September 19 to September 24, 2011 in the territory of the JSC Dalrybtekhcentre enterprise teachers of APPIUS company provided training thanks to which specialists of the enterprise mastered the principle of work in a 1C system: PDM, received irrefragable answers on the interesting questions and drew up plans for operational system implementation 1C:PDM in relation to specifics of the enterprise.

During training questions of work of the designer, technologist and administrator were considered. On the example of the manufactured equipment developed by designers of the enterprise the principle of work of a PLM component for SolidWorks 2011 was in detail sorted.

According to the specialists of the enterprise specializing in release of the competitive equipment for fish processing cooperation with APPIUS company and system implementation 1C:PDM will become a new stage in development of the enterprise.
