The 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) completed the project on automation of operational accounting in the Ekaterinburg hotel "The Big Urals" by means of the software solution "BIT: Hotel 8". As a result of implementation it was succeeded to increase quality and service rate of clients and also to reduce time for implementation of daily transactions.
"The big Urals" are the oldest hotel of Yekaterinburg, in July of this year celebrated the 80-year anniversary. The number of rooms is made by more than 100 numbers of different level.
For accounting in Big Urals it was used the outdated software solution developed especially for this hotel. However functionality of the program began not to be enough. On accomplishment of normal daily transactions took a lot of time. Especially difficult in application was an armoring block. To increase employee performance, and, therefore, service rate of clients, the hotel management made the decision on automation. Implementation of the program based on 1C had to provide also simplicity in training of employees that an exit of the new employee and his acquaintance to the program were not occupied by a lot of time.
The industry software product "BIT had to solve problems of hotel: Hotel 8", information on which was found in the Internet. Hotel management functionality and cost of the solution of the company "attracted BIT: Hotel 8" and also the fact that the program is simple in mastering and is clear. As in hotel the 1C: Accounting 8 program, by advantage "BIT was already used: Hotel 8" there was also the fact that this solution is integrated with 1C.
The 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) – the solution designer "BIT became orchestra seats on automation of hotel: Hotel 8". That the staff of hotel could master the solution, at an initial stage in hotel the demoversion of the program was set and initial training is provided. Within two weeks the staff of hotel tested the new software product then work in "BIT: Hotel 8" it was transferred to the normal mode.
In the project progress jobs of the accountant, hotel manager and administrator were automated. Use of the program allowed to increase service rate of clients twice. Time which they it was spent for accomplishment of daily transactions (especially concerning room reservation) was reduced, and process became simpler. As reported, operations on armoring of places began to be executed instantly.
