VMware vSphere on Kuibyshev Refinery

The Samara representative office of Softline announces project completion on virtualization system implementation at the enterprise Kuibyshev Refinery within which successful start of services of virtualization of VMware vSphere took place and was trained technical specialists to administration and work with a system.

During the project on Kuibyshev Refinery IT infrastructure with all basic settings – the ready-made solution assuming possibilities of migration of physical servers, scaling, production of thin settings was developed. Engineers of Softline in the shortest possible time trained the customer's specialists in work with a system, provided high-quality maintenance of users.

Virtualization of IT infrastructure at the moment is the standard in most the companies, it allows to reduce significantly costs for the physical equipment, the space occupied by the equipment, the electric power for servers and cooling systems. Besides, a system allows to manage practically all virtual IT infrastructure via the single console. Specialists of Kuibyshev Refinery are going to continue cooperation with Softline company in this direction – the additional contract for annual technical support directed to expansion of functions in a system and prevention of faults in work is signed.

Today virtualization can be applied practically in all IT areas. Everywhere, where there is a set slightly of the loaded servers, it is possible to implement software of virtualization and to reduce the number of the physical equipment. Virtualization is extremely demanded at planned purchases of the new equipment and also at geographical moving of data processing centers.
