State archive of socio-political history of the Tambov region (ELAR Planskan)

Based on the tender of the State archive of socio-political history of the Tambov region the ELAR corporation acquired the right to delivery of the color planetary scanner. The equipment will be used for digitization of archive card files and inventories for the purpose of ensuring safety of archive documents after their withdrawal from the physical address.

As a result of works which will be carried out in archive on the ELAR scanners the efficiency of rendering public services will increase. In particular, the quality and speed of execution of social and legal requests will increase, and access to archive documents will be open in the reading room and by means of the Internet. Electronic collections of documents will be exposed on portals of archive services.

The LED reprosistema of lighting of the Elar Planskan A2-Ts3R scanner makes the minimum impact on the paper original that completely conforms to requirements to scanning of archive documents. The built-in cradle and clamping glass give the chance to scan archive card files and inventories, guaranteeing careful impact on a back.

The equipment will be installed in the State archive of socio-political history of the Tambov region until the end of 2011.
