A system SCOUT helps to optimize work of VSMPO-AVISMA transport

The SCOUT group announced end of the first stage of the project on monitoring GLONASS/GPS system implementation in vehicle fleet of the VSMPO-avtotrans enterprise, affiliated enterprise of the Russian corporation "VSMPO-AVISMA" – the world's largest producer of titanium. The equipment SCOUT is installed on 75 cars, all in plans of the company – equipment of 120 units of vehicle fleet.

The structure VSMPO-AVISMA includes divisions in the cities of Verkhnyaya Salda (Sverdlovsk region) and Berezniki (Perm Krai) connected by a uniform technology chain. Taking into account geographically distributed structure, for the company important it was effective to build work of corporate vehicle fleet on two directions: the organization of work of cargo transport on production and transportations of employees and guests of the company. For optimization of these business processes the decision on system implementation of control, allowing to control work of cars, to prevent delay and non-compliance with routes was made. "VSMPO autotrance" a System SCOUT became such solution for.

In turn, the commercial director of SCOUT Group Yury Visnevsky noted industry specifics of this project: "Heads of the enterprises with complex geographically distributed structure often are faced the need to increase effective management of activity of corporate vehicle fleet. The organization of control and monitoring of transport is of great importance for the solution of this task. The solution the SCOUT allows to plan VSMPO-AVISMA the diagram of trips of motor transport and to control deviations from routes, and the received analytics - to select optimal ways of cost reduction".
