SCOUT Group of Companies is a production and commercial holding. The abbreviation of the name stands for "Satellite Control, Analytics and Transport Management." He is engaged in the development, production and implementation of the SCOUT System. The group of companies provides customers with comprehensive solutions for controlling the location of cars and fuel consumption, ensuring driving safety, monitoring the operation of special equipment, integration with tachographs and corporate accounting systems. 2019: Building a Company to Implement Occupational Health and Safety Solutions

On August 21, 2019, SCOUT Group announced the separation of the SCOUT-Corporate Solutions business unit from the group in April, which became an integrator of developments and tools to improve safety in corporate fleets. 2015

The revenue of SCOUT Group of Companies increased by 53%. The greatest demand was received: cloud satellite monitoring system "SCOUT-365," fuel level sensor PetrolX and services for design development of software and equipment. Over the year, the number of companies using SCOUT hardware and software increased by 1,955, reaching 9,925.

In total,
taking into account the results of 2015, the total number of vehicles equipped with the SCOUT System exceeds 200,000 units. Among them: commercial trucks and buses (60%), corporate cars (30%), special equipment and agricultural equipment (9%), private transport (less than 1%), as well as loaders, helicopters, yachts and stationary equipment.

In 2015, clients of SCOUT Group of Companies turned to industry solutions, including Basic Monitoring, Fuel Control, Special Equipment Control, Safe Driving, Integration with Tachographs. New solutions for satellite monitoring were added to the main solutions, including: "Control of fuel tankers" and "Search for theft." Now the solution line includes 7 main positions. All of them are based on the SCOUT Platform software and are available in its cloud version of SCOUT 365.

An important achievement for the company was the inclusion of trackers and fuel sensors manufactured by SCOUT Group of Companies in the list of equipment used in the largest corporate monitoring system of Transneft.

Among the companies in which SCOUT GC solutions were implemented in 2015: Danone, Heineken, Lamoda, SGS, AstraZeneca and other large federal clients. Several projects implemented for such customers were noted in the industry ranking of CNews Analytics. As a result, SCOUT Group of Companies was included in the rating of the largest IT suppliers for transport companies according to the analytical agency.

As before, an extensive network of installation centers and a professional partner network allow the implementation and integration of the SCOUT System in customer fleets throughout the country. Over the year, the number of partners of SCOUT Group of Companies increased by 34 companies, and now the network has 300 integrators of the SCOUT System.

Along with this, the value of the system to customers has increased due to the development of integration with software and equipment of other vendors. The SCOUT system was integrated with 1C:Enterprise 8, with tachographs Mercury, BARCH-Tahoe RUS and other M2M developments for transport and logistics work. In total, the SCOUT System today is integrated with 40 software products and supports 900 types of various equipment from 400 manufacturers.

2014

In 2014, SCOUT Group of Companies sold 25,000 satellite monitoring devices. The SCOUT system was introduced in the fleets of such companies as Air Gate of the Northern Capital, VimpelCom, Slavyanka, EFKO Group of Companies, Castrol, Unilever and many others. Projects continued to equip large federal customers, including Rosatom, Megafon, PepsiCo, and Gazprom-Neft structures. A wide partner network helps to implement the SCOUT System throughout Russia, which has increased by 50 companies. Some of them are tachograph maintenance workshops. The SCOUT group of companies itself was also included in the list of workshops for the installation and maintenance of tachographs. This allows you to fully develop your own integrated solution, provide support to partners, as well as act as a single supplier of tachographs and transport monitoring services for corporate clients.

In general, in the revenue structure of the SCOUT Group of Companies, revenues from the service direction began to occupy an even larger share. Along with equipping customers with new equipment, today a significant profit is generated by payments for software licenses, for system maintenance services, and custom development is becoming more and more in demand. For example, Salym Petroleum Development ordered the development of a system for managing travel plans for the company and its contractors from SCOUT Group of Companies.

2013

More than 28,000 vehicles were connected to the SCOUT System for 2013. 16,000 monitoring modules were implemented through the partner network - about 12,000 more terminals were delivered to direct customers of SCOUT Group of Companies. On average, hardware sales increased by 20%, software sales grew by 288%. In comparison with other leaders in the Russian transport telematics market, SCOUT Group of Companies ranks fourth in the list of leading equipment manufacturers and third among software vendors.

Custom development service

In 2012, the company separated the product management group and regulated the processes of product and project activities. Each product is assigned to its Product-manager. He is responsible for all stages of product development: analyzes market requirements, controls quality, profitability, is responsible for compliance with deadlines and budgets. This tactic allowed SCOUT to expand the direction of software development and begin to successfully perform individual improvements.

The Custom development service provides for the creation of new specialized reports, transport control rules, support for special sensors and equipment from other manufacturers, as well as data upload and integration with various ERP systems on customer assignments.

To this end, the Development to Order application service was opened on the partner web portal in the Commercial Support section. By placing a request for software revision, the Partner or the Client can discuss and agree with the specialists of SCOUT Group of Companies the functionality, cost and timing of such project. At the moment, the first projects have already been implemented, fully in accordance with the new regulations for project activities. Work is actively underway with regional partners, as well as with direct clients for new projects.

2012

SCOUT Group of Companies releases an updated line of MT-600 monitoring modules. Also, a new software product "SCOUT-Navigator" is entering the market, which does not require intervention in the electric grid of the car. The SCOUT-Online web interface has been released, designed for tablet computers and mobile devices. There is a final transition to the production GLONASSGPS of combined/receivers. 2011

The number of calls to the company's specialists for consultations on working with the SCOUT Satellite Transport Monitoring and Fuel Accounting System also increased accordingly. SCOUT Group Technical Support helps Scout System users and partners of the company implementing it with customers in solving the following tasks:

  • configuring SCOUT software and installing updates,
  • setting up SCOUT equipment for different modes of transport and connected sensors,
  • setting up communication channels (from monitoring modules through the server to users' AWS),
  • organization of work of dispatchers and solution of other monitoring tasks,
  • obtaining licenses for SCOUT SOFTWARE.

2010

SCOUT Group of Companies begins serial production of MT-530 devices (GLONASS GPS). The first issue of the corporate newspaper "Sledopyt" was published. Companies of the CIS countries - Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan - join the partner network of SCOUT Group of Companies.

2009

SCOUT Group of Companies begins production of updated line of equipment - SCOUT MT-510 devices GPS (). The company employs 30 specialists. The partner network of SCOUT Group of Companies includes 41 companies. Despite the crisis period, in 2009 the revenue growth of SCOUT Group of Companies amounted to more than 100%.
