X-Com: the cloud solution for accounting

The Japanese producer of the printing solutions OKI and the Russian system integrator X-Com создали a special IT complex for those who should not just work hard with documents, but also to print them in large volumes. First of all the new integrated solution is intended for accountants and auditors.

The complex was created by integration of cloud solutions X-Com and the printing solutions OKI. Implementation of this complex eliminates the majority of critical places in work of accounting and audit departments: the integrity and security of information is guaranteed, there is easy an organization of joint work, the quantity of jobs changes with the minimum costs of time and money, and printing of large volumes of documents does not represent a serious problem now.

Almost each business has the "bottle neck" — elements of business processes in most of which often there are failures or delays. In particular, for accounting and auditing companies the integrity, availability and security of information are critical. Besides, these companies have one more "bottleneck": often they should print really huge information volumes — various reports, the presentations and many other things. To fix all these problems, the Russian integrator X-Com and the Japanese producer of the printing solutions OKI through joint efforts developed the integrated IT solution which solves all of the questions relevant for accountants and auditors.

The first part of the solution developed X-Com is responsible for direct work with information. On the basis of this technology we developed own complete solution".

X-Com provides all components for the organization of "private clouds": servers, thin clients, software for the organization of work in "cloud" and software for ensuring daily work (office, financial and accounting and accounting programs). Certainly, specialists of the company install and fix all this equipment and software — as well as it is necessary to the system integrator.

Than "cloud" for problems of accounting is so good? First, the risk of loss or information leak sharply decreases — all data are stored on the managing server, and employees work with them through "thin clients" who allow to get only access to the server, and any information on clients is not stored even temporarily (they simply have no hard drive).

Secondly, such complex is perfectly scaled — it is possible to add/delete jobs literally for several clicks by a mouse. At the same time server power is required to be increased only in exceptional cases when the number of jobs increases by orders.

Thirdly, means are saved. On the equipment — cost "thin clients" normally is less than the cost of a standard workplace. On the software — at such solution it is much simpler to optimize costs of the company for software: it is possible not only to buy it, but also "to lease" on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology. But means are most of all saved on service of "cloud solution" in comparison with the classical solution – workers the place on personal computers.

The second component of a new IT complex — the printing group implemented on printer solutions of the Japanese company OKI. "By our work experience with accountants and auditors — Nikolay Vinnikov, the printing solutions specialist says X-Com — we formulated the following requirements to this component of a system: maximum capacity and non-failure operation, minimum time of a release of the first page, printability of both black-and-white, and color proofs, maximum wear resistance. According to specialists of the company X-Com, products of OKI several factors spoke well at once. First, on performance they almost by one and a half times exceed standard office printers — from 38 pages per minute against 20-25 pages per minute at the most popular models of competitors. Secondly, when it is necessary to print something in short terms, time of a release of the first page plays a role. At OKI printers it is only 5 seconds after sending a task for printing. Thirdly, the resource of these printers by 1.5-2 times exceeds indicators of standard office competitors. And, at last, they have one quality which will be estimated especially by accountants — they have a low cost value of a print.
