The SCOUT group announced in October, 2011 end of the first stage of the project on system implementation of a satellite GLONASS/GPS of monitoring SCOUT in vehicle fleet of Makkaveevsky pishchekombinat – the largest enterprise of the city of Chita. The equipment installed on the Freightliner and Isuzu Elf trucks already yielded positive results: traffic routes were optimized, and fuel consumption was reduced by 15%.

For the companies of the food industry which Makkaveevsky of pishchekombinat treats one of compulsory provisions of effective work is observance of normative terms of transportation of perishable products. Violation of these terms can lead to damage of the made products and emergence of additional costs - both financial, and reputation. To reduce these risks, it is important to distribute optimum loading of drivers and motor transport, to minimize idle times. On Makkaveevsky pishchekombinat for these tasks a System the SCOUT providing satellite monitoring of transport and accounting of fuel is used now.

At the first stage of the project begun in July, 2011 a System the SCOUT was installed for 30% of vehicle fleet of Makkaveevsky pishchekombinat. At the second stage the number of the equipped equipment will be increased up to 50% of total number of the cars used at Makkaveevsky plant. System implementation the SCOUT will allow to set transparent control over motor transport which is used for cargo delivery in outlets.

"Problems which were solved for Makkaveevsky pishchekombinat are relevant for most the companies working in production areas of food and retail. This maintaining the reference book of delivery addresses of loads, assessment of cost value of delivery on different customers, optimal planning of delivery, control of compliance of the actual route planned, timely response to emergency situations – breakdown of cars, traffic jams, idle times on unloadings. Experience of system implementation SCOUT on Makkaveevsky pishchekombinat can become a basis of industry solution for the food industry and the enterprises suppliers of retail networks", – the commercial director of SCOUT Group Yury Visnevsky commented.
"A system SCOUT has advantage, very important for us: it allows to control the product delivery in shops even on those sections of roads where there is no cellular communication with the driver. Using a System SCOUT we optimize traffic routes that also reduces risk of failure to meet time constraints of delivery of our products to suppliers", – the CEO of the pishchekombinat Vyacheslav Eduardovich Ionov noted.

System implementation of Satellite monitoring SCOUT passed with the assistance of the regional Partner of SCOUT Group – S-Telecom company.
