Tambovapparat Experimental plant (Altium Designer)

Softline announced in October, 2011 project completion on design automation on Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Tambovapparat experimental plant within which specialists of Softline performed delivery and implementation of hi-tech products of world leading manufacturers of the software – Siemens, Altium Designer, MathWorks MATLAB and Microsoft.

At the initial stage of the project specialists of Softline carried out preparatory work: together with the client analyzed the existing IT infrastructure, defined problems and picked up the solutions meeting the most modern requirements of design automation and satisfying everything business needs of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Tambovapparat Experimental Plant.

The next stage of cooperation included preparation of documentation for participation in the tender. The Softline company offered advantageous conditions on delivery, implementation and training, having won a victory in the tender and having confirmed the competences in the IT market.

Delivery of hi-tech products is NX Mach from Siemens, Altium Designer, Microsoft Office Standard, MathWorks MATLAB – was performed qualitatively and in the terms specified in the contract.

NX Mach from Siemens – flagman CAD/CAM/CAE a PLM system. Means of industrial design in NX are intended for modeling of surfaces of a free form, visualization, automobile design, solving of tasks of the return engineering, integration with a design CAD (CAD), means of reverse engineering (CAE) and a technology CAD (CAM).

Altium Designer is an end-to-end system of end-to-end automated design of electronic devices (distribution zone) based on printed circuit boards and the programmable logic integrated circuits (PLIC). Altium Designer allows to conduct project works in the end-to-end approved environment and to test a projectible system at a modeling stage. Thanks to Altium Designer it is possible to create the debugged, approved and completely predictable prototype of the device long before its physical embodiment.

The software of MathWorks MATLAB represents a high-level language of technical calculations, an interactive development environment of algorithms and the modern instrument of data analysis. MathWorks MATLAB in comparison with traditional programming languages (C/C ++, Java, Pascal, FORTRAN) allows to reduce much time of the solution of standard tasks and considerably simplifies development of new algorithms.

Microsoft Office Standard allows to create and process electronic documents, tables and the presentations, to work with e-mail and the calendar. The product Microsoft Office Standard is convenient for the organization of effective joint work of employees, partners and clients of the companies.

All delivered software was set and configured. After completion of technical works specialists of Softline conducted the three-day training course "The basics in MATLAB" which is comprehensively covering a subject of introduction to computing environment of MATLAB for the staff of the plant. The rate constructed on a large number of examples and exercises is focused on development of necessary skills of work in MATLAB and their practical application. In learning process subjects of data analysis, visualization, modeling and programming were considered.
