Digia developed the system of the business analysis for ANC Certification Center

The Digia RUS company, the Russian representative office of one of the leading IT companies of Finland, announced in October, 2011 start of the project on QlikView business intelligence system implementation in ANC Ltd, the center of technology competence in the EDS.

The ANC private company specializes in execution of works on creation and technical support of the end-to-end systems of security of information using the methods and solutions which are based on a public key infrastructure. Being one of the most reliable certification centers of St. Petersburg, the company renders services to hundreds of state and private organizations using the electronic digital signature both for participation in electronic biddings and as means of protecting of personal data and other confidential information.

Staff of ANC manually analyzed given and created different account on the planned and actual sales of certificates of the signature, the accompanying software and services and also calculates profitability of the company in general with breakdown by types of the provided services, effectiveness of advertizing campaigns and other indicators. The company management of ANC is interested in process optimization of the analysis and creation of the reporting using the Business Intelligence system. The BI solution of QlikView was recognized the product satisfying with everything to requirements of the company. Implementation will perform Digia RUS, the Russian representative office of Digia, the Finnish system integrator and software developer.

In December, 2011 Digia RUS completed development of the system of Business Intelligence on the QlikView platform for ANC Certification center.

The system of the business analysis developed by Digia company is intended for the complex analysis of results of activity of ANC and search of so-called "points of growth" - ways of increase in income, optimization of work, elimination of the factors preventing the company to develop quicker and more effectively.

A BI system is developed on the QlikView platform – the software product which is quickly gaining popularity around the world thanks to convenience of using, visualization, rich search capabilities of simple answers to difficult questions. The Digia company which is specializing in creation of the Business Intelligence systems and being one of the largest international partners of QlikTech, QlikView developer acted as the system developer.

During the project data sources for creation of the reporting were defined, integration with the accounting systems of the customer is carried out, forms of the reporting are created and data-refresh mechanisms are configured. The solution created by specialists of Digia allows:

• analyze income gained by ANC from the edition of certificates of the EDS, implementation of the accompanying software and rendering additional services;
• trace and optimize expenses;
• calculate key performance indicators in general on the company and in the separate directions;
• create reports on different aspects of activity of ANC, predict indicators of future periods and find sales increase methods due to increase in number of the issued certificates of the EDS, more effective sales of additional services, etc.
