"NIS GLONASS" began project implementation on equipment of vehicles of Bashkirnefteprodukt with navigation GLONASS/GPS terminals.

In total within the contract with the largest network of gas stations of the Republic of Bashkortostan on creation of a monitoring system of NIS GLONASS motor transport should install telematic GLONASS/GPS terminals on 192 vehicles, generally it is about fuel trucks of the company.

Need of simultaneous management of large-scale freight transportation and danger of transportations of flammable liquids require serious approach to the organization of transport logistics. Application of modern navigation solutions based on GLONASS technology will allow to build effective and safe work of vehicle fleet and to reduce costs for motor transport due to optimization of routes and control of fuel use.

This contract is continuation of cooperation of the federal network operator of NIS GLONASS with fuel and energy complex of the Russian Federation. Earlier, the contract for creation of a monitoring system of motor transport with "JSC Transneft within which NIS GLONASS equips 21 thousand cars in 37 divisions of the company in the territory of Russia from the Far East to the Baltic Sea was signed.
