TVINGO Telecom (Cisco ASR 9000)

The Vladikavkaz Internet service provider "TVINGO Telecom" completed upgrade of reference fiber-optical network using the equipment Cisco. Advanced technologies will allow the company to render high-quality services of high-speed Internet access and digital television and also to start new services.

The project on upgrade of reference fiber-optical network "TVINGO Telecom" was implemented by Inline Telecom Solutions system integrator which for already 10 years has the status of the golden partner of Cisco. As technology base the solutions of Cisco which showed the excellent performance, scalability and fault tolerance were selected. Commissioning of the new equipment allowed to provide high capacity and reliability of network functioning, to simplify network settings for clients and to facilitate access control to services and additional services. Also the fact that the subscriber base of the company constantly grows was considered. Now it totals about 15 thousand clients, and by the end of 2011, as expected, the TVINGO Telecom network will cover all Vladikavkaz. The new equipment will allow to cope with rapid growth of traffic and increase in number of users.

As a core of TVINGO Telecom network Cisco ASR 9000 routers are used. This equipment is developed for operator Ethernet networks, maintains capacity to 400 Gbps on the slot and the page can be scaled to the level of 6.4 Tbit/. Such functionality allows to deliver uninterruptedly multifunction applications, including video. Besides, the Cisco ASR 9000 routers optimized for transportation of video and aggregation of mobile traffic include a full range of the systems of activation of the services accelerating entry into the market of new services without increase in current expenses.
