franchasing shops of retail chain stores FiNN FLARE. At the first stage of the project with the help of the software product "1C: Retail 8. Clothing store and footwear" on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform five shopping facilities are automated. Now the head company obtains reliable data about sales of goods, controls processes of pricing and merchandising, implements uniform marketing policy among the partner franchisees.

The FINN FLARE company was founded in 1965, and now is one of leading manufacturers of clothes, footwear and accessories. Own retail network FINN FLARE in Russia contains 94 shops. The franchasing network is provided by 270 shops in Russia and the CIS.

Cooperation of FINN FLARE and 1C-Rarus companies started in 2009 with automation of own retail network of the retailer. The unified information system allowing to obtain reliable data about work of all objects of network was created. Successful project implementation forced transition to the following step of cooperation. At this stage it was decided to integrate a similar information system all franchasing shops FINN FLARE. It would allow the management to obtain operational and exact information from the partner franchisee.

At making decision on automation the following criteria to an information system were formulated:

  • Possibility of data exchange between shops franchisees and the central office of FINN FLARE company;
  • Possibility of control of process of pricing of the partner franchisee;
  • Reporting about work of the franchisee.

As a basis of an information system the software product "1C: Retail 8 was selected. Clothing store and footwear" on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, successfully proved at automation of own shops FINN FLARE.

On the first project stage the decision on automation of 5 franchasing shops was made: single objects in Cherepovets and Kolpino and networks of three shops in the Samara region. During the second project stage specialists 1C-Rarus provided training of staff of FINN FLARE company that allowed retail chain stores to automate further other franchasing shops by own forces.

Implementation of an information system allowed the retailer: • Implement uniform marketing policy for all shops franchisees; • Obtain the consolidated up-to-date information about dynamics of sales and a commodity remaining balance in shops of the franchisee; • On a centralized basis to create the prices and to set discounts for goods; • Change the range of shops, filling them with the most demanded goods for sales increase and receiving the maximum profit; • Messages operational analysis of activity of franchasing network.

According to Ekaterina Yeliseyeva, the director of franchasing shop FINN FLARE to Kolpino, "Implementation of the software product "1C: Retail 8. Clothing store and footwear" allowed to manage effectively the enterprise, to simplify and facilitate work with goods, personnel and clients. Today using an information system we quickly and qualitatively service about 200 buyers a day. Thanks to an opportunity easily and quickly to obtain information on the marketing policy of network, we are going to start an advertizing campaign in the nearest future that the number of buyers by 2-2.5 times will help us to increase".
Mirans Alexander, the CIO of FINN FLARE company, commented on project deliverables: "Today we can monitor sales and remaining balance of goods in franchasing shops in real time. It allows managers of the central office to increase effective management of the range in shops of the franchisee. Document flow between the central office and franchasing objects is considerably simplified. The data loading problem from consignment notes is solved: instead of manual entry of data today information on shipments is updated in a system automatically. The number of delivery notes with errors is reduced from 20% to 0.1%. Shops 7 times faster start actions thanks to automatic data transmission in a system: prices, nomenclature, name of an action. Accounting of goods is automated that allowed to carry out 4 times quicker its acceptance and to accelerate emergence of new collections on show-windows".
