Field works in Bashkortostan are monitored by a System SCOUT

The SCOUT group announces end of the first stage of system implementation of a satellite GLONASS/GPS of monitoring SCOUT in vehicle fleet of the Ufa enterprise "GARD Service". At the initial stage the equipment was installed on trucks of the increased passability "KAMAZ". In plans of the company – retrofitting of all equipment prior to the spring sowing campaign of 2012. The implemented solution helps to monitor work of special equipment and simplifies calculation of charges of vehicle fleet.

The GARD Service company is presented at the market of agricultural services of the Republic of Bashkortostan since 2009, one of the directions it activity – processing of agricultural grounds from insects wreckers and rodents. To cut down expenses on fuel and to control operation of the special equipment, the company management in May, 2011 made the decision on system implementation of a satellite GLONASS/GPS of monitoring SCOUT.

Hardware and software system the SCOUT allowed to solve several problems at once: exercise control of work of special equipment conducting herbicidal processing of fields, exclude the probability of use of vehicle fleet for personal reasons, coordinate its work and trace places of breakdown of cars for technical assistance or the organization of departure of the car on replacement.

As the director "GARD Service" Sergey Anatolyevich Korotkov notes, "A system SCOUT works reliably and meets the qualifying standards. The software is built properly, with indication of all necessary parameters. All information is available as in real time, and in archive that allows to facilitate significantly calculation of costs for the specific vehicle".

One of advantages of a System the SCOUT, important for the agro-industrial industry, is a possibility of its integration with the systems of parallel driving installed on agricultural machinery. Thanks to higher accuracy of a route the value of a dynamic error of positioning at which the part of the square can be passed when processing or, on the contrary, is processed twice (so-called "overlaps") is reduced from the industry average indicator of 0.5 m to 0.01 m.

The commercial director of SCOUT Group Yury Alekseyevich Visnevsky commented on practice of system implementation SCOUT in the agricultural industry: "A system SCOUT successfully proved as the reliable assistant in work of the agro-industrial enterprises. Based on implementation at the enterprises of the agro-industrial sector of Russia, a System the SCOUT allows to reduce on average by 30% fuel consumption and charges of vehicle fleet, to reduce losses of a harvest by 10-15% and for 2-4% to reduce wear of the equipment thanks to optimization of routes and reduction of run".
