At the end of October in the capital of Bashkiria the grand opening of the updated Central Dispatcher Station (CDS) of RDU JSC Bashkirenergo which reconstruction was performed by the general contractor of the project – Polymedia group together with the staff of the All-Russian Research Institute of Power Industry (ARRIPI) and a number of the Moscow and Ufa companies was held. On the level of hardware and the software TSDP RDU JSC Bashkirenergo became the biggest and modern dispatcher station in power industry of Russia.

The Polymedia group acted as the general contractor on all amount of works, carried out on an object, including design, construction, ventilation, finishing of premises, the system of uninterrupted power, etc. This project became really unique for the Russian energy market and in many respects for the company – the system integrator, implemented the project in record time. Despite assurances of many experts about impossibility of reconstruction during so short period, the team of specialists of Polymedia successfully coped with the task of everything set for them in 7 months.

The first stage of the project was completed in the summer of this year when in RDU JSC Bashkirenergo the videowall from six video cubes of "Mitsubishi Electric" with the total resolution of 4200x2100 pixels and the powerful graphic controller with the specialized software necessary for formation of the full-screen image was installed. As the additional hardware the uninterruptible power supply unit, the cooling system and also a sensor system of management of a complex and its equipment – the videowall, lighting, access control and the sound reinforcement system were set. In front of the videowall three automated workplaces of dispatch service operators and service of wholesale by energy of RDU executed according to drawings of specialists of Polymedia were mounted. For the period of reconstruction of TsDP for the subsequent replacement of its mnemoshchit for the videowall the operation personnel of dispatching service RDU passed for work into the Training complex which is temporarily performing the TsDP functions.

Reconstruction of TsDP was dictated by need of transition to new technology of information display of operational and regime character for managers of power supply system for the purpose of adoption of fast and correct solutions on liquidation of the deviations happening in power supply system of RB. Installation and setup in the Central dispatcher station of a display system of information of collective use – the videowall from 32 cubes of "Mitsubishi Electric" with the total resolution of 11200х4200 pixels became the main stage of upgrade.

The scheme of power pool is displayed on the videowall as in a structural, and switching form now. The main of them – structural. This scheme displays all main power facilities – 400 stations and substations, 62 of which can reveal in detail (with display of all switching devices: switches, disconnectors, transformers, power units, etc.). The commutation circuit of power pool was traditionally used in supervisory control, however on videowalls of the scheme of this kind usually are not displayed in view of their bulkiness. Nevertheless, specialists of Polymedia in cooperation with the Japanese specialists of "Mitsubishi Electric" managed to perform a stitching and setup of video cubes in such a way that on the videowall of JSC Bashkirenergo completely and in the smallest parts also the commutation circuit is displayed. It should be noted that the complete commutation circuit plays an important technology role, namely, on it the topological analysis of a status of the capital equipment, such as, shutdown of power supply in certain areas is made. Now on a dynamic board in the smallest parts all constituent elements of power supply system of the republic are displayed. Besides, function of issue of specific recommendations to the manager by a software package on reduction of the scheme and the mode of power supply system is provided in tolerable limits. Such function is implemented for the first time. On the videowall it is possible to organize information windows from additional sources, including from surveillance cameras and information channels, to output the image received on a video conferencing. Besides, the complex of programs allows not only to display operational information on the videowall, but also to make its analysis. The management system for the videowall in RDU "Bashkirenergo" allows to display on the scheme the current values of distance measurements and telesignals, in real time. Information is output to a dispatching board in process of its updating that allows to minimize temporary delays in its display and to reduce computing costs.

As the director of RDU Ildar Shakhmayev emphasized, the new board allows the manager to monitor authentically all technology processes happening in the present mode and to accept, in case of need, the correct solutions to prevent failure, critical situations on these or those sections of power supply system. And if it is simpler to tell, the new board allows to give to all consumers energy uninterruptedly and with high quality. During the opening ceremony the chief engineer of JSC Bashkirenergo Rishat Amirkhanov declared officially that on equipment level the board of republican TsDP is the most innovative in Russia today.


During the presentation of the new project solemn signing of the acceptance act of the Central dispatcher station after reconstruction took place. The document was signed by the director of RDU Rishat Amirkhanov and the CEO of Polymedia group Elena Novikova who noted, in turn, what a task of the company was not only to deliver and mount the big screen where information is displayed, but also "arm" managers with the latest information technologies. Further Bashkirenergo is going to broadcast the innovative experience also to other regions of Russia as security and comfort of each of citizens of the Russian Federation depends on the thought-over technology of operation of energy.
