At the end of October, in the capital of Bashkiria, the grand opening of the renovated Central Dispatch Center (CDP) of the RDU of Bashkirenergo OJSC took place, the reconstruction of which was carried out by the general contractor of the project - the Polymedia group of companies together with employees of the All-Russian Research Institute of Electric Power (VNIIE) and a number of Moscow and Ufa companies. In terms of technical equipment and software, CDP RDU Bashkirenergo OJSC became the largest and most modern dispatch center in the electric power industry of Russia.

The Polymedia group of companies acted as a general contractor for the entire scope of work carried out at the facility, including design, construction, ventilation, finishing of premises, uninterruptible power supply systems, etc. This project has become truly unique for the Russian energy market and in many respects for the company itself - a system integrator, which implemented the project in record time. Despite the assurances of many experts about the impossibility of reconstruction in such a short period, the Polymedia team successfully coped with the task set for them in just 7 months.

The first stage of the project was completed this summer, when a video wall of six Mitsubishi Electric video cubes with a total resolution of 4200x2100 pixels and a powerful graphics controller with specialized software necessary to form a full-screen image was installed at the Bashkirenergo RDU. As additional equipment, an uninterruptible power supply, a cooling system, as well as a sensor system for controlling the complex and its equipment - a video wall, lighting, access control and a sound amplification system - were installed. In front of the video wall, three automated workplaces of the dispatch service operators and the wholesale energy trading services of the RDU were installed, made according to the drawings of Polymedia specialists. During the reconstruction of the Central Control Panel for the subsequent replacement of its mimic with a video wall, the operational personnel of the dispatching service of the RDU moved to work in the Simulator Complex, which temporarily performs the functions of the Central Control Panel.

The reconstruction of the CDP was dictated by the need to switch to a new technology for displaying information of an operational and regime nature for power system dispatchers in order to make quick and correct decisions to eliminate deviations occurring in the power system of the Republic of Belarus. The main stage of modernization was the installation and configuration of a collective display system in the Central Control Room - video walls of 32 Mitsubishi Electric cubes with a total resolution of 11200x4200 pixels.

The power connection diagram is now displayed on the video wall in both structural and switching form. The main one is structural. This diagram displays all the main power facilities - 400 stations and substations, 62 of which can be opened in detail (displaying all switching devices: circuit breakers, disconnectors, transformers, power units, etc.). The power connection switching circuit has traditionally been used in dispatch control, however, on video walls, circuits of this type are usually not displayed due to their cumbersome nature. Nevertheless, Polymedia specialists, in cooperation with Japanese Mitsubishi Electric specialists, managed to stitch and tune the video cubes in such a way that the switching circuit is displayed on the video wall of Bashkirenergo OJSC in full and in the smallest detail. It should be noted that the complete switching circuit plays an important technological role, namely, it performs topological analysis of the state of the main equipment, such as the disconnection of power supply in certain areas. Now all the components of the republic's energy system are displayed in the smallest detail on the dynamic shield. In addition, the function of issuing specific recommendations to the dispatcher by the software system to bring the diagram and mode of the power system to the permissible limits is provided. This function is implemented for the first time. On the video wall, you can organize information windows from additional sources, including video surveillance cameras and information channels, display an image received via video conferencing. In addition, the complex of programs allows not only to display operational information on the video wall, but also to analyze it. The video wall control system in the Bashkirenergo RDU allows displaying the current values of television measurements and television signals on the diagram in real time. The information on the control panel is displayed as it is updated, which minimizes time delays in its display and reduces computational costs.

As the director of the RDU Ildar Shakhmaev emphasized, the new shield allows the dispatcher to reliably track all technological processes taking place in the present time mode and make, if necessary, the right decisions in order to prevent a failure, critical situations in certain sections of the power system. And to put it simply, the new shield allows you to supply all consumers with energy uninterrupted and with high quality. During the opening ceremony, Rishat Amirkhanov, chief engineer of Bashkirenergo OJSC, officially announced that in terms of technical support, the shield of the republican Central Democratic Party is by far the most innovative in Russia. "

During the presentation of the new project, a solemn signing of the act of acceptance of the Central Dispatch Center after reconstruction took place. The document was signed by the director of the RDU Rishat Amirkhanov and the general director of the Polymedia group of companies Elena Novikova, who noted, in turn, that the company's task was not only to install and mount a large screen where information is displayed, but also to "arm" dispatchers with the latest information technologies. In the future, Bashkirenergo plans to broadcast its innovative experience to other regions of Russia, since the safety and comfort of each of the citizens of the Russian Federation depends on a well-thought-out energy operation technology.
