Gaz-Oil started system implementation of satellite monitoring of transport based on GLONASS technologies

Gaz-Oil LLC — affiliated enterprise JSC Gazprom — started in November, 2011 system implementation of satellite monitoring of transport based on GLONASS technologies. The flexible solution for the company feeling the need for control of automobile transportation of the stable gas condensate (SGC) in the conditions of the international roaming was offered by GLONASS Northwest company.

Exchange service stations based on a GLONASS/GPS – "M2M Cyber GLX" – will equip 20 vehicles of Gaz-Oil LLC which are going to be used for transportation of the stable gas condensate (SGC) to Finland. Existence in new modification of the M2M-Cyber GLX terminal at the same time of two SIM cards will provide data transmission on GSM networks without costs for roaming. At intersection of border with Finland telematic information (location, speed, a rate and other data) will be automatically transmitted on networks of the Finnish mobile operator through the second SIM card that will significantly reduce costs for communication.

The monitoring system based on GLONASS will be installed on 20 cars with trailers. Besides on these vehicles the control system of a hitch declutching which will allow the operator to receive exact information on transportation of a load (geographical coordinates of places of hitch/declutching, the status of the vehicle will be implemented: information on that, happens the movement to a load or without it).

For the organization of a full-fledged control and management system for the movement of vehicles of Gaz-Oil LLC the dispatching center in the St. Petersburg representative office will be created, on 4 jobs the special dispatching software allowing a message the round-the-clock monitoring of transport will be set. Besides, specialists of GLONASS Northwest company will provide remote access to monitoring of loads for head office Gaz-Oil LLC in Kaliningrad.
