Hyper Globe

The international Retail the company with branches in Germany, the Czech Republic and Russia. Self-produced departments of a full stroke: Meat workshop, Fish production, Gastronomy, Bakery. Globus hypermarkets, construction hypermarkets Baumarkt, hypermarkets of Alpha-Tecc electronics are a part of group.

Around the world the network integrates more than 60 hypermarkets and more than 78 construction hypermarkets, and in it more than 31 thousand sellers, managers, the servicing and administrative personnel work that promotes better customer service.

"Globe" came to the Russian market in 2006, and now hypermarkets of network successfully work in the cities situated near Moscow and also in Vladimir, Yaroslavl and Ryazan. From first year of the work Globe is guided by permanent development of technological effectiveness of processes. The technological effectiveness of actions is thought over practically at all levels: from own production before continuous improvement of approaches to service of buyers.

Shops

Each project assumes placement on the land plots, belonging our company of the large-format specialized shopping facilities (product hypermarkets, DIY hypermarkets, electronics and home appliances, multifunction shopping centers, etc.) which are mutually supplementing each other for the purpose of formation of a multifunction trade zone of regional value. As product hypermarket of a trade zone the GLOBUS hypermarket with a total area of 20,000 - 25,000 sq.m., with a trading floor from 9,000 to 12,000 sq.m. will be provided. On the offered platforms or there is already a GLOBUS hypermarket or its construction is supposed in the nearest future. The number of visitors of each of the operating GLOBUS hypermarkets is made daily by from 13,500 to 35,000 persons.

Many of the offered land plots are already provided with necessary volumes of utilities or preliminary work whenever possible of connection to networks is carried out.

History

1828

Franz Bruch opens the first grocery store in the small town of Sankt-Vendel of the State of Saar.

1945

Franz Bruch's great-grandsons - Walter and Franz Josef Bruch open the first self-service shops in Germany.

1966

The first wholesale store of the Cash&Carry format, and then and the first Globus supermarket opens.

1986

The first hardware store of DIY under the Globus Baumarkt brand in the city of Tsvaybryuken opens. Its area was more than 10000 square meters. The hypermarket became the biggest at that time hardware store in Germany.

1996

The company enters the markets of Eastern Europe. Opening of the first Globus hypermarket in the Czech Brno.

2005

The Globus Stiftung charitable foundation which efforts are directed to decline in unemployment among youth and assistance in the fields of education and humanitarian projects in developing countries is created.
