The IT upgrades the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER HRM system in Siberian Cement holding

The IT company won in November, 2011 tender for execution of works on upgrade of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER HRM system in the Siberian Cement Holding company. Within the project transfer of the set versions of software on a single platform of Oracle, the qualified technical support and license maintenance is performed. Using the centralized solution the Uniform settlement center on the salary of staff of all enterprises of holding will be created.

JSC Sibirsky tsement Holding Company (Kemerovo) – the leader in the market of production and supply of quality cement and construction materials in Siberian Federal District. Topkinsky, Krasnoyarsk and Timlyuysky cement works, the enterprises for production of commodity concrete under the general brand "Siberian Concrete" and the Volna plant making fibrous and cement products are a part of holding.

In the company with the state about 5,000 people need to enter uniform policy on personnel management ripened, applying unified standards and provisions on compensation of different employee categories and also to lower the costs connected with operational obtaining the consolidated information on all enterprises of holding. For implementation of these tasks the decision to create Uniform settlement center on the salary of all enterprises of "The Siberian cement" and also to transfer personnel records and personnel management to the general software platform was made.

In the fall of 2011 the company held an open competition at the choice of the partner for upgrade of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER HRM system, to its transfer to a single platform of functioning of Oracle in all structures and implementation of technical support, including license maintenance. The tender was won by the IT company which provided the most complete packet of necessary competences for project implementation.

The personnel management system and payroll the BOSS-personnel officer includes five main functional modules: The staff list, Registration of personnel, Accounting in RPF, Time keeping, Payroll. The project provides integration the BOSS-personnel officer with the Microsoft Dynamics AX enterprise management system and the system of the financial accounting "1C: Accounting". During upgrade of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER system specialists of IT will develop more than 60 report and help forms for optimal adaptation of the program under requirements of the HR policy of the company.

In the summer of 2012 the IT company completed upgrade of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER HRM system in the Siberian Cement Holding company. During the project transfer of the versions of a system set earlier on a single platform of Oracle was made, necessary completions of software are executed and also the qualified technical support is given. All this, as well as was planned initially, allowed the customer to create Uniform settlement center on the salary of staff of all enterprises of holding.

In 2011 specialists of "The Siberian cement" continued to create the effective system of data collection and processing allowing to measure quickly and precisely the level of achievement by employees of holding of effective objectives and tasks. For this purpose the company needed to enter unified standards and provisions on compensation of employees of different categories. Besides, it was required to lower the costs connected with operational obtaining the consolidated information on all enterprises of holding. The Uniform settlement center on the salary of all enterprises of "The Siberian cement" just also had to solve these tasks. Creation of the center was preceded by the big preparatory work including upgrade of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER HRM system (software of the BOSS. Personnel systems company entering into IT Group), its transfer to a single platform of functioning of Oracle in all structures.

One of difficulties which specialists of IT in the project progress met were completions in the existing HRM systems. Along with the fact that the number of such completions was impressive most of them was not documented. With respect thereto their adaptation to the modern version of a system demanded considerable efforts. As a result and this task was successfully solved in what a considerable merit of a project team from the customer. Now in a HRM system more than 40 users work.

The management of "The Siberian cement" could already appreciate quality of the performed works and also functionality the BOSS-personnel officer. At the moment there is a study of plans for further development of a system. In particular, the possibility of implementation and development of the module of training, integration of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER HRM system with an access control system and also unification of policy of calculation of charges at all enterprises of holding is considered.
