Autodesk ForceEffect - the solution for mobile devices is available on a free basis to engineers, students and designers enthusiasts

The Autodesk company announced in November, 2011 that Autodesk ForceEffect iPad-application allowing to analyze quickly and conveniently options of execution of projects already at early stages of work is available to loading with AppStore. ForceEffect offers an intuitive working environment for drawing, imposing of dependences and calculations on the basis of diagrams. At the same time the choice, movement, rotation and scaling are performed by means of fingers. The application intended for mobile devices allows to solve problems of engineering design in real time in any place – whether it be work on departure, at office or in educational audience.

Using ForceEffect it is possible to carry out the analysis of the static and balanced systems, applying as a diagram basis. Users can create charts, using the available images or developing systems from scratch.

Taking real images as a basis, it is possible to create easily nodes, support, loadings and to calculate reaction forces. Thanks to convenience of management of geometry the efficiency of recalculation of forces of reaction by construction optimization is provided. Unlike traditional approach which consists in the solution of the equations using the handle of paper and the calculator, in Autodesk ForceEffect all calculations are executed on iPad.

In Autodesk ForceEffect the report with detailed results which can be printed, sent by e-mail is created or to browse via any web browser. Possibilities of export allow to transfer the project for further study to any CAD.
