JSC OZNA equipped 72 pieces of equipment of vehicle fleet with the System of a satellite GLONASS/GPS of monitoring

The large Russian diversified company "JSC OZNA" rendering services in designing and service maintenance of objects of the oil and gas industry equipped 72 pieces of equipment of the vehicle fleet with a System satellite GLONASS/GPS monitoring SCOUT. The implemented solution proved the efficiency: the run of motor transport was reduced by 9%, as a result, expenses on fuel decreased.

The geography of activity of the company covers the majority of the federal districts of Russia where the largest oil and gas enterprises are located. Different tasks are set for motor transport used in the company: passenger transportations, delivery of the equipment and materials for the fuel and energy enterprises and also carrying out handling and construction works on objects. Therefore one of the being business processes of the company are business trips of employees. To keep track of location of office transport, to control observance of the modes of work by drivers and to cut down expenses on fuel, the company management made the decision on system implementation SCOUT.

The equipment SCOUT was installed on passenger and trucks and also on different types of special equipment. "According to waybills we see that the run of motor transport was reduced by 9%, and expenses on fuel - for 10%. In addition, the logistic service had an opportunity more quickly to build the work due to redistribution of loading of cars on distant runs, and the working schedule of vehicle fleet began to be planned more precisely", – the SCOUT the head of motor transportation workshop of JSC OZNA company Ramil Raufovich Badretdinov notes results of system implementation.

A system SCOUT helps to exercise remote control of vehicle fleet that is important for control and planning of routes of motor transport in any region. In case of faults of machines managers of the company can adjust routes of the movement, direct the next repair crew or reserve motor transport. According to the commercial director of SCOUT Group Yury Visnevsky, "The project in JSC OZNA shows that modern TEConts are effective for the centralized control of vehicle fleet working in different regions.
