West Concept and "the Nevsky Consulting Company" automate Infra Engineering

Specialists of West Concept holding together with "Nevsky Consulting Company" (NCC) completed the first stage of the project in one of the companies of Infra Engineering Ltd. Within the project blocks of financial planning, project management and also budget management of the company were automated.

The Infra Engineering holding integrates the Russian companies specializing in installation and construction works in the field of telecommunications, operation of communication networks and telecommunication equipment, power and special purpose constructions. Desire of the management to standardize approach to maintaining projects on primary activity and also to have enhanced capabilities of the analysis in all companies of holding became the main premises to project implementation.

Preference was given to products of Microsoft corporation. The single platform allows to save time and money for setup and also training of employees, integration, implementation and support of software products, says West Concept.

The main factors which defined the choice of partners in project implementation for benefit of West Concept and NCC became, on a response of the customer, successful work experience of the companies in the construction industry, high qualification of a project and consulting team. The project was implemented in two stages: at first the analysis of specifics of business processes Infra Engineering and the choice of optimal stages of automation, and then step-by-step business process automation of the company using products of Microsoft was made. Were as a result automated: project management using Microsoft Office Project Server — creation of the project from a template, maintaining project and contract activities; budget management of means of Microsoft PerformancePoint Server — creation of budgets of the company and projects; financial management based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server — creation of the register per day, the payment schedule, balancing of the register.

The customized system successfully functions in one of subsidiary companies "Infra Nzhiniring". Regarding Financial management in a system there pass about 2 thousand requests a month. In the module "Project management" about 50 users work, more than 500 drafts and about 900 cards of projects are at the same time kept. In the system of Budget management it is developed and more than 70 forms are conducted.

Now cooperation West Concept and Infra Engineering continues regarding service maintenance of the implemented system. It is in the future going to replicate the solution on other companies of holding.
